Woohoo!  Email received overnight that there was action on my account.  The USCIS case status shows nothing, but the USCIS account shows my GC is being produced!  Yay, I guess I'm approved.  Once I get something in the mail, I can finally move on to N400.  Dec. 7 filer (17068)

Date of I-751 = The Date you sent your application.

You can get a stamp and get your other papers, it's not that hard... I think you expect too much out of this country and its government, honestly. 
 
Also, going through your congressperson/senator/representative will not help unless you are important enough. The normal processing time through your congressperson's office is three months. This is a democracy, it takes time, for everyone's voices heard, issues addressed, problems solved. 
 
In your post you display this strange sense of entitlement. Unless you one day become the head of USCIS or the US president, I do not expect it to change (and when you are that important, your perspective will change and you'll know why "The agency is not doing its job as it should. Let people fill their voids how they want. "). Like I said there are hundreds of thousands of people who are in much worse situations than us, and they are patiently waiting as well. 
 
If your relationship/marriage is dependent on your immigration status, maybe you shouldn't have been approved in the first place.

This is getting interesting, seen a few people getting physical approvals without the online status changing, are we just wasting out time checking our online statuses now?!

It’s all like a twisted joke... my case statuses online are both the same as before! (Fees waived (CRI-89); local office (I-751))

Quite frankly, it's not my job to satisfy you. Not sure what you are looking for if it's not the information. There honestly is no difference on the interview regardless of the visa category. Only difference is on what happens after you get your Visa. 

In my limited experience it is usual for married people to spend time together.

Only the income which will continue after relocating to the US can be used.

Just noticed someone in a Facebook group reporting a 'Name update' on their case.... they're a Jan 2017 CSC filer as well, no rhyme or reason to any of this

FYI for people who received their green cards with the wrong "resident since" date. USCIS recalls about 8000 cards that should be returned upon receiving a notice. Those should receive a new card within a couple of weeks. 

We're all with you! My timeline actually tracks pretty similarly... sadly, there's not a whole lot that we can do other than use these forums for support. At this point, trying to find patterns is meaningless and a waste of time. It seems like there are so many factors that could have the smallest change on how the applications are processed, and those changes lead down a whole different workflow for completion. 
 
Keep your head up and be thankful that you're in the US legally, able to work, and able to be with your spouse. The current administration's stance on a variety of issues (including immigration) has only seemed to heighten all of our anxieties... breathe in, breathe out. :-)

Thank you! I just received my GC today in the mail - so happy this process is done! I was worried I didn't provide enough evidence in my application because I read so many posts here about people providing tons of evidence. My application was less than half an inch thick, lol. I provided copies of our house rental lease agreements, car lease, utility bills, my health/retirement benefits showing my spouse as my dependent/beneficiary, joint bank account, tax return, marriage license certificate, and two personal affidavits. Maybe it helped that my application was simple. Anyway, I wish you good luck if you are still waiting, I hope you are approved soon.

Well I just got off the phone with the officer a very nice and friendly woman . She said the case was transferred on the first of may and it’s a lot of case being transferred  and my notice was sent on the 3rd cos she placed me on hold and after 3mins she said that was what she finds out that I should get the mail by Monday latest Friday. So let’s wait till next week and see what we got in the mail. Best of luck y’all. And so for the local office that was the message I got on feb 25 and 26 and wen I called they said it was a glitch . I submitted a service request and got a reply after a week that the case is still under normal processing timeframe that they are sorry for the misinformation on the website, 

I don't think that's a requirement during any part of this process... have you seen that requested somewhere?
