Waiting since March ? That sucks. I thought waiting time is around a week or two for the interview to be scheduled. Hopefully, it'll happen soon for us.

So its 5 of us from India waiting for interview date. Anyone left out?

Hi all,

I'm in the process of filling out my I-864. What did everyone put in the A-Number box? All zeros? I know you're not supposed to leave anything blank, so I put N/A or None in every other box, but am at a loss as to what to put in this one. Thanks!

A number is printed on your citizenship certificate

Question regrading civil documents:

Do I have to submit ORIGINAL civil documents (birth certifcate, marriage cert, Police cert etc) to NVC? or copies will be acceptable for now and my parents can take originals at the Interview in Mumbai, India.

My concern is that if I send Originals to NVC - what if they are lost??

I would appreciate reply from folks who have already gone thru the process.

Hey, you have to send original civil documents (including PCC) or you will get a checklist. NVC sends all the docs to respective embassy and your parents will get them back at the time of interview. You must also send your original birth certificate with the IV package. Make sure you write BMB # on each doc, with pencil of course

Medical is possible at your nearest location but fingerprinting/biometric is available at Mumbai and New delhi only.

I am also from Gujarat and will have medical at Apollo hospital, Surat. But for biometric...need to go mumbai before interview date.

I bet she can get it done in Hyderabad. My parents will interview at Mumbai, however, since the facility is available, they will do their medical in Surat, Gujarat. You can directly call/email the embassy and clarify.

My wife is in Hyderabad. Her interview will be in Mumbai (don't have a date yet, probably June). Is it true that her fingerprinting+pics will be in VAC-Mumbai or can she get it done in VAC-Hyderabad?

When do you think they will start the June schedule for Mumbai?

I am hoping we should hear something by the end of this month. Honestly, I don't know...do we have any data from previous members to go by? When I called on Monday NVC rep said they were done with May. Then when I called on Tuesday the rep said they were still scheduling for May. Also, I received CC email on Monday, is it odd b/c everyone said that they received it after a week.

Also, we need the interview letter to schedule VAC and Medical.

That might not be true bcoz when i called yesterday they said May scheduling is already over..

Well, when I called yesterday, the rep said they are still scheduling for May. Then last week when I got CC, the rep told me they were done. Who knows.....

Called NVC and rep told that they are still scheduling for May for Mumbai embassy. So strange! Mumbai embassy is displaying list of schedule for May on website which is unable to open and NVC is informing that scheduling is still going on

Well, I just noticed b/c you embassy is New Delhi, I somehow assumed it was Mumbai. Anyway, its just a matter of time, your interview will be scheduled very soon

Question: How can we access the interview schedule page for April and May (Mumbai embassy)?

My case complete date is March 28, still no case complete email and no interview scheduled.

Just called NVC.. Interview scheduling for MAY is finished for Mumbai Consulate.. Now on wait for JUNE interview

I know right well, we will gladly take early June I think we were week or so late for a May interview.

its also possible ( very remote chances ) that your number maybe on the list and you didnt get the interview email.
