  1. Processing times seem to follow a sine wave model and it appears the I485 is heading toward a peak but hopefully they will come down soon. When my wife adjusted her status after we married AOS times were fairly long especially for those that had the interview waived (there were members here actively asking how they could switch their waiver to an interview so they could get their GC faster), but my wife had an interview and got her GC in about 6 months. You are still in the 6 month window, so hopefully something will break soon. Also you mentioned Casper (I assume Wyoming), but for some reason that office does not show up in the processing time look up. All you can really do is wait and assume you will get an interview. Good Luck!
  2. The CEAC status does not always indicate the actual real-time status. I would rely more on how the interview with the CO went, was more information requested, did the CO indicate a positive result (not always reliable), did the consulate keep the passport, etc.? Eventually the website will catch up, and hopefully soon. Good Luck!
  3. You should still be able to get something official from the court showing something even if it shows no record found. See the thread linked for someone in a similar situation. As to your part B even if you file now, there is no way things will be wrapped up before Jan. 20, 2025. As to a spousal visa (IR1/CR1) vs a K1, I would definitely look toward the spousal visa. Nigeria is a difficult country regardless of who is in office, and you will need to show a solid relationship which is easier (relatively speaking) to do if married, and beginning to comingle the marriage. Good Luck!
  4. A little more credible critique of the Hunter Biden pardon. Democrats need to enable political corruption as it runs deep in DC. IRS whistleblowers slam Hunter Biden's pardon: Taxpayers held to different standard than the 'political elite' Special agent Ziegler told MacCallum that Biden's claims his son was "singled out" are "completely ludicrous." "I'm a Democrat, and I'm a person that believes in the rule of law. When you look at what he was charged with, criminal tax evasion, and what he pled guilty to, there's thousands of taxpayers who honestly file their taxes, they pay their taxes on time, and I think they should be disappointed by this because they're held up to a standard that's different than the political elite," said Ziegler. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/irs-whistleblowers-slam-hunter-bidens-pardon-taxpayers-held-to-different-standard-than-the-political-elite/ar-AA1v9uqr
  5. It will be interesting as now that Hunter has blanket immunity for his actions of the past 10 years or so, he cannot take the 5th when being questioned. I expect Old Corrupt Joe to continue using his pardon pen for other family members and quite possibly for himself.
  6. Really, an Eric Swalwell quote? How is Fang Fang doing? Did Eric get removed from the intelligence committee yet? I do wonder what Eric and the other Old Corrupt Petulant Joe apologists will say when he uses his pardon pen for his brother and the rest of his family including himself? The fact that Democrats defend political corruption and use the justice system to attack their political enemies shows just how insidious the DC insiders are. Regardless, keep defending the establishment.
  7. Call me surprised...not! The Biden family are the poster children for political corruption.
  8. Someone on a revenge tour against his own party, and the establishment in DC. Of course he promptly got on AF1 and headed to Africa. What is interesting is Biden is admitting Trump was right about the corruption in the DoJ.
  9. Just wow. I know the Democrats tend to claim victim status at the drop of a hat, but this was amazing. You do realize that labels used in the media are defined by those in the media which clearly shows how biased the current media is toward the left be it here in the US or in Europe. What amazes me is you continue to try and group everyone who supports Trump or voted for Trump as Proud Boy supporting Magas. Maybe take a step back and see why Trump was re-elected, and it has nothing to do with the extremism on the right, but rather the extremism on the left.
  10. Depending on the country anywhere from 15-25 years assuming the son remains unmarried. If the son is married, there is no option. https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Bulletins/visabulletin_December2024.pdf
  11. Use the same name you used as the beneficiary on the I485. We did. Good Luck!
  12. I agree, the only option is to go to the consulate and get it resealed or reissued. Good Luck!
  13. What is wrong with cutting the fat of the completely bloated federal government? There is no way all those federal employees in DC are essential.
  14. Why is it when someone in Europe, more right leaning, wins an election they are described as far right, or ultra right, but when a leftist wins they do not call them extremist even though most of them are?
  15. That should be enough for the N400 to provide evidence of a bonafide marriage. Good Luck!
  16. Easy, himself. He sees himself as up and coming in the Democrat Party, so the people of Illinois are not his concern. He needs to realize his body type is a huge liability.
  17. Does she have a Peoples Passport from Mongolia? The reciprocity states that is acceptable as an alternative to a birth certificate. Other than that, if she received this information from a government site they should be fine. Good Luck! https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country/Mongolia.html
  18. I agree, have your husband research CRBA as the child can be a USC through that route. It might be easier for you to run your pregnancy in your current home with Drs. You are familiar with rather than trying to find Drs. here. Good Luck!
  19. Yes, travel during consular processing of an IV is possible with a B2, or ESTA, or with a Canadian passport, but each entry is at the discretion of CBP. If a person heading toward an IV shows a history of trying to live in the U.S., i.e. coming for the maximum stay, leaving for a few days/weeks, and then attempting to re-enter for another maximum stay visit, CBP will eventually catch on, and may not allow entry. For people in that position, it is generally recommended to make the visits shorter and make sure the time outside the U.S. is about double the time inside.
  20. Oh so tolerant. Trump Cabinet nominees, appointees targeted with ‘violent, unAmerican threats’ EXCLUSIVE: Nearly a dozen of President-elect Donald Trump’s Cabinet nominees and other appointees tapped for the incoming administration were targeted Tuesday night with "violent, unAmerican threats to their lives and those who live with them," prompting a "swift" law enforcement response, Fox News Digital has learned. The "attacks ranged from bomb threats to ‘swatting,’" according to Trump-Vance transition spokeswoman and incoming White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt. Sources told Fox News Digital that John Racliffe, the nominee to be CIA director, Pete Hegseth, the nominee for secretary of defense, and Rep. Elise Stefanik, the nominee for UN ambassador, were among those targeted. "Last night and this morning, several of President Trump’s Cabinet nominees and administration appointees were targeted in violent, unAmerican threats to their lives and those who live with them," she told Fox News Digital on Wednesday. "In response, law enforcement acted quickly to ensure the safety of those who were targeted. President Trump and the entire Transition team are grateful for their swift action." https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-cabinet-nominees-appointees-targeted-violent-unamerican-threats
  21. I also prefer the spousal visa route. As to what waiver you will need, that is hard to tell based on your story. Why would there be a 5 yr. bar?
  22. They will keep women’s football, but it will become essentially a men’s B-league.
  23. Best to start by reading the guide linked below. You will want to file the adjustment of status forms I485/I864 and if desired, I131/I765 as soon as you can. If your now wife wants to take your family name by marriage, fill out her I485 with that name desired on the GC. I am not sure if you can do the same thing on your step-daughter’s form, others may know better. I probably would not waste time filing the I765 for your step-daughter unless she is over 16 and may want to see about working since that form adds cost now. Lastly unless there is more than 2-3 weeks of validity left on their authorized stay from the K entries, you will need to wait to get an SSN. Good Luck!
