I got the GOOD NEWS this morning:
My wife was approved and was told to come back Friday to the US Consulat General in Casablanca to pick up her passport and the sealed envelope.
Thanks you everybody on VJ for the unconditional help and support.
I will add details about the interview as soon as she gets back home.

Hang in there! My number was generated the 24th of June and this morning I was able to log on and fill in the DS-261 I haven't received the email. I just kept checking the site 50 times a day.

Announcing your strategy to your opponent before the battle is joined was a mistake, but water over the bridge. I'm fairly familiar with the legal process of divorce, IMHO, the clear and present danger is you are living in the same house together in an atmosphere that is poison. As others have pointed out, the greatest danger is her obtaining a 209A restraining order and having you thrown out of your own house. In most states these orders are issued 'ex-parte', without the knowledge of the other.
Since she is not talking to you, you can be sure she's getting 'victim' pointers from her new friends and possibly family.
What would I do ? Hire a competent attorney. A 209A can work both ways, you mentioned you were in your 60's. If you're legally considered a senior citizen, abusive behavior can swing in your favor, especially with the timing and age difference. What ever you do, do not leave the marital home. Do not feed into her anger. If she is pushing you into a confrontation, verbal or otherwise, go to a safe room in the house where you can lock the door. Let her pound on the door all night. Your ace in the hole is recording video of the abusive behavior, observed or spoken. Every time that video camera is pointed her direction it will send a large cease and desist message. If you possess any firearms, get rid of them, transfer them to a friend. Be pro-active not reactive...
Good Luck,
Rob187
PS: Just my .02 cents

There are many horrendous, disgusting atrocities in this world committed by males, and awful natural/accidental tragedies, but yeah sure, nothing as bad as a 'bad woman' exists.

Yep. My husband asked me today if I would be interested in moving to Belgium for a few years. I'm giving it some serious thought...and not just because process times are insane.

Yes you can, although you should obviously try to locate your real green card as that is something that should be in your possession at all times (by law, and also for your security, as it contains personal information).

Married4Life13 got a reaction from tbellkzoo in Filing I-130 January, 2014
NVC is behind now because the USCIS was playing catch up. Seems like each phase is taking 30 days....30 days for case number, 30 days to process AOS, and 30 days for IV/ case complete. Hang in there everyone! We will get through this.

I am going to the https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/
Over there under the immigrant section -- there are four options:
DS261
Fee payment
DS260
Check my visa application status
When i click fee payment and enter the Case number and IIN number i see under AOS section -- the name of the petitioner and it says bill NOT INVOICED. It says nothing under the IV section
When I click on DS261 --- it asks me for the case number and IIN number but i don't get the form at all. All it says is that this case is not eligible for further processing yet and if its an error i should contact the NVC. So i guess i cannot Log in to that section.
I havent clicked the DS260 or the visa application status at all. I am also attaching a print screen to show you where i am going.

Married4Life13 got a reaction from Connie & Mike in Case number but told to wait I receive an email.??
I was given my case number last week on the 24th. They told me to call back this week to give them email addresses too. I was finally able to get the IIN and the BIN but I can't do anything with them until I get that blasted email!

Married4Life13 reacted to pushbrk in Original Civil Documents For NVC - IV STAGE
Incorrect as to translations. For example a person born in France and interviewing in Paris would submit a Certified Copy of their French birth certificate with no translation but if a person born in Germany was interviewing in Paris, they would submit the German Certificate with Certified Translation.
The OP, needs to order a Certified Copy of their birth certificate directly from the applicable government agency that has the original on file. Chances are the fragile old document spoken of is really only a souvenir that wouldn't work anyway. Individuals do not generally possess the original of any government issued birth certificate but they often have souvenir originals from hospitals.
