Today marks 5 months exactly from NOA1... last touched 11/12/2013... I'm going out of my mind here we'll be entering a service request during this week.

So I think you should wait a little before entering SR. I really really hope they will start approving Nov filers this month!

Our pd is December 17, after that we filed for a K3 and our alien registration number was changed January 30.

Since then waiting.

what you have seen in visa bulletin is accurate for LPR ( permanent residents ) , are you one ? or are you an USC ?

Our I-130 was approved a few weeks ago and we have yet to receive anything in the mail about it arriving at the NVC. My question now is about the calling of the NVC that many fellow I-130 filers do! Can anybody help us out with this? Where can we find the number to call, which extension, what should we be saying, should we call day after day, etc.?

Hello, There have been some approvals in our thread, but mostly people with expedite request got them.

Rest of us is still waiting , and will wait for probably two more months... ( I am dreaming and hoping that we will get our noa2 sooner, though )

Is it possible to send in the document before they request it?

I doubt it, I think I have read somewhere on VJ about situation like that, but I can't find it now, but I doubt it is possible. If I were I would try call uscis and talk to Tier2.

"On March 18, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance."

There is a hope for us - uscis has updated its trends and volumes and they have completed 15,000 cases more in Jan than in Dec.

as I recall there was a lot of snowy days so still pretty good outcome.

It's getting more and more possible to receive our noa2 by May/June :)

Data is from December 2013 and this week we will get new data till February end I believe.

New update is going to be about processing dates as of 31 January.

I had some free time today and decide to create a spreadsheet for us, so we can follow our approvals that are nearing to happen !

What did you exactly use to mail it ? pocztex maybe ? do you have tracking number ?

you can track the package on usps website.

and also knowing if the check was cashed could be a good determinant.
