Hey all! Dec filer here! Priority date is Dec 10 and my case is at the Texas Service Center. I am from NJ and living in NJ and spouse is from Toronto and living in Toronto as well. It's been a long journey so far and I know we are in for a ride.. just hoping for some good karma for all of us! It is truly a heart wrenching thing to be seperated from the one's you love.

Hello everyone just got some strange news . OK I sent in our I-130 on Dec 17th and got the NA01 Dec 23rd . Just checked and on Jan 10th I got an RFE ?? Why so quickly did I get this ?

I believe it is because you are from Philippines. and uscis expedite them. Aren't you happy? it is a good thing. in few days you will get a snail mail, then send what they ask for and hopefully move on to next stage.

Sent off our I-130 on 12.22 in Austin, got our NOA1 Hard Copy on 1.8 online case status under INITIAL REVIEW and Mark's coming for another visit on 3.6!

From the look of things, this petition is going to take forever to complete. 8.7 months?!!! Really!!!

and this is only the first step.. then the nvc (3-4months at the moment) and then waiting for interview.. huh, I hope it will all move on, and we will not have to wait for so long, but let's wait for all the transfers to be done and when the October fillers will start to get approvals then we will know for sure that we are getting closer

Ok got our hard copy NOA1 in the mail yesterday the 7th of Jan! just in time before hubby flys back to Aus. Now the real wait begins.

noa2 is the Next step , now it takes about 8-10 months to received it. uscis goal is to do it in 5 months. I hope it will work for us and we will get it by may/ June. then is the nvc step and then interview. but who knows.

you and me both... I tried to check my case status but I did not find anything too. I am waiting for upcoming week so that I can call them if I don't see the status update. I hope this makes you feel a little better.

you didn't make your timeline so I don't know when you've sent your forms, but it takes few days before you can see your case in the system. it is even written on your email to wait till you get a hard copy with checking it at least it took few days before I could check mine.

btw. where are you ? Nebraska?

They received our I-130 dec 5 th at the Nebraska service center and on Dec 9 th I got our NOA1 in the mail .... I hope this goes quickly really wanting my husband here with me soon ....

AdnanS just like california_luv, Kaylara said - hard copy is not a big deal. you have your number, sign up for further updates, that is all you need for now.

I'd call in 30days for a duplicate, just to make sure they have your correct address in database in case of any RFE's which of course I don't wish you to get.

But hey! no worries, all we need is patient now - there is few months of waiting for noa2 in front of us.

Everyone is is waiting just around the same time as me, at 9:45am this morning, I just got APPROVED!

they received mine at 5th dec and we got noa1 at 10th, so be patient and it was phoenix as well . so you are going to get it probably soon - today tomorrow or monday

They say that's the fastest that they can provide that information. I think they need time to train the pigeons, and then for them to fly from the various service centers to where ever they're compiling the information.

Due to Christmas it might take more time, do you have tracking #, did they receive it ? was your check cashed? if yes it is just a matter of time before you will get your notification

Filed Nov but only got our NOA1 on the 19th. Still waiting for the hard copy. Husband's town's post office sucks as bad as ours.

We're being processed at Nebraska.

I really wish that they could get their act together. It would absolutely kill us if my husband missed the first year of our daughter's life. I'm due April and I doubt if we'll even receive our NOA2 by then.

You have your case # in your email so it is not so important to get a hard copy of it. I can see you are from Philippines (or your husband) - isn't the option of expedite available for you ( due to typhoon) ?

Package was received at the Phoenix Lockbox on December 23rd, check was cashed and we received our NOA1 this morning. Our case went to the Nebraska Service Centre, now the long wait beggings.

I don't know how it works with rest of the process when you are abroad, but I hope that you are going to get more information from others more informed vj users and maybe do more research on forum.

Did you include G-1145 form ? if yes, you are going to get a notification on your phone and email and then after few days you are going to recive a hard copy of noa1 I -797C form with snail mail. Do you have tracking number for your package? You have to remember that Christmas are coming so they are going to have some days off probably..

man is just awful, while we are together, I can't stop thinking that my mom will die from her stage IV cancer before we get over there. I can understand 6,7, 8 months, but longer than a pregnancy plus? c'mon!!

I never expected after moving overseas and being away 14 years that in choosing to move back I would have to wait 6-9-12 months for us to do so. It wasn't like I said oh yeah you are a different culture so that means we're stuffed if we ever want to go stateside LOL
