  1. I don't like to be passive, I know that we have nothing to say when it comes to our lives and that some random dude is going to decide if I can be with my husband and when, but still I need to do something, do some action..

I hate living in a limbo.

it is not cool to be treated like that. I haven't seen my husband since February and probably won't till I am in us (if I ever get there :P ) nvc takes these days 3to5months plus interview, so we are looking at another 7months of this process, another 7 months being apart and in the limbo..

it is not easy to stay positive all the time when I know what is waiting ahead, but I am trying :)

I still have hope everyday to be THAT day.

  2. hi guys,

too all of you still waiting - I think you should try to put a Service Requests if you haven't done it yet, if it doesn't work, contact your senators or congressmen and after this steps write to ombudsman, white house and all other "important" people.

We can't let them to forget about us.

it is outrages what is going on !

    :clock::cry::clock::ranting::cry::clock:

I have hope to see approvals soon !

    hang in there.

  3. Hi guys..... so I got a question. I received an email update just now saying that the I-129F for my wife was approved today and they are mailing me the letter from Texas Service Center meanwhile I am still waiting for my RFE response to be processed for the I-130 for my wife and daughter that I sent back on June 10 to the Vermont Service Center and they are still pending.

So I dont know what will happen next. Will the I-129F get sent from TSC to the embassy in Peru by itself if the I-130 is not approved yet by VSC, or the I-130 will be approved soon after this email notification?

hi, I have no idea :( but did you try to call uscis and ask about that?

and maybe create a separate thread for your question here in vj and some smart people will help you more than we can..

    anyways - Good luck ! :)

I was really hoping that my husband and stepson would have gotten approved around the same time since their petitions were mailed together in the same envelope, but unfortunately not. Am still waiting on my husband and my stepson own is already at NVC. When calling they give you the same b.s. as everyone else. I can definitely see why there always behind because they have no organizing skills. Instead of completing a case fully they move on to the next easy case and toss the other aside on their desk until they get back to it; which they doesn't realized it causes them to be bombarded with phone calls. I am just piss right now, because I really wanted for them both to have the interviews around the same time. Just letting off some steam this morning. They don't care if love ones are not together, missing births, anniversaries, birthdays, holidays together. They just don't give a damn.

I am so sorry to hear that, it really makes no sense what they are doing.. it is confirming me that they have a big mess on theirs desks.

Maybe you can wait with your stepson process at nvc for your husband to be there also and then when he gets there do it all for both of them at the same time ? so they can have interview and medicals together ?

I admire your strength to stay positive guys, it is really hard for me these days. I really wanted to be in us for christmas, but it looks now like a silly dream of little girl. New week and new hope that it's going to be our week for approvals. please please please !

  4. have anyone tried to call them today?

I noticed that they have updated info on their website so maybe they moved from Dec 3rd to different BS date for instance 3rd of January? so if you are still waiting it should be possible to submit a SR or find out something more about your case than before...

We are still waiting for an answer for our e-R.

and I don't get it what is going on at NSC :( transfers? really ? again ?

    :clock::clock::clock:

  5. It seems that about half of the December filers have been shoved to the side, and now they are approving January filers. Every time we do a service request it seems like we are all given BS answers like

''USCIS electronic records indicate that this case is currently pending background check clearance."

" We are actively processing this case. However, we have to perform additional review on this case and this has caused a longer processing time. "

and we are either told to wait 90 days for a decision, or to go bite on a rock as they cannot provide you with a completion date.

For all of us that have still yet to receive our NOA2, We could stay patient and suck it up or try to be proactive. I have put in 2 service requests at this point and they are worthless. I am going to write up an email and contact the ombudsman. I think it would be great if we all did the same on a given day. We could write up a generic email and each one of us could tailor it to his/her case.

    Anyone interested?

I am in too. Would you like to write this letter? you could based it on previous campaign created by ppl on vj. I am not good in writing :P

if you want to contact ombudsman you need to file an electronic form http://www.dhs.gov/case-assistance

  6. However, I was wondering if we should send them in addition of that a proof of bona fide marriage in our RFE's reply with a cover page stating what's in the package?

To make it clear, we didn't send any proof of bonafide marriage with our I-130 Package because we didn't know we should do it at this stage. I should have done my homeworks and read the great article on VJ about the I-130 Package :ranting:

Also, should we use the enveloppe they sent us to reply or use our own enveloppe?

Thank you in advance for your responses!

It might be to late, but I think you shouldn't send anything beside what they ask for. If you feel like you need to add more proofs of your marriage do it on nvc stage. :)

205 days at NSC and counting :clock:

Anyone had any luck with service requests yet..? fyzah, axs, nanana, Monirasohel,CBO, yumisleidys03, victorioussect, faisal.sial and the rest of you guys with PD between 12/3 and 12/24.

My dreams of xmas in the US with my wife is starting to fade <_<

Hi. no luck with anything, tiers are keep telling my hubby that we are in the normal processing time frame (because on theirs computers states that nsc is working on Dec3... BS). We emailed an inquiry to NSCFollowup.NCSC@uscis.dhs.gov , and got response that our case is pending background check clearance. ( how much time it can take......... ? :protest: )

Today we were able to put E-request. I am wondering what kind of lie they are going to give us this time..

    o h GOd I was approved on 3july just saw it now,THank u jesus

Did your wife call them ??

    NOA2 RECEIVED!!!!!!!!!!

God is so Good! Keep praying, our faith must be bigger than our problems!!

My heart is so happy! I wish you all to feel thaript soon!!!

YAY ! awsome ! great news. :dancing:

and to your previous question - yes you can apply for tourist visa and go visit your spouse.

I was on business trip with no access to VJ and with no time for checking the case status, thus I could take my mind off this endless process for few days, but somewhere deep in my head I was hoping to get approved by now and see much more approvals here..

I hate waiting. I will erase that word from my dictionary once this process it over.

    Hang in there guys.

  7. Hi,

My petition is at Texas and we replied to the RFE last week. I was thinking of calling to confirm if the packet was recived or not.

Which number should I call on? and do they send a notice of recieving the RFE or update the online status to RFE revview?

You didn't mail it with an option to track the package ?

I found this website with TSC phone # http://forums.immigration.com/threads/does-anyone-know-the-phone-number-of-texas-service-center.234045/] I am not sure if it is still accurate though.

Yayyy I just got a text message saying my stepson I-130 has been approve! Now am waiting on my husband to be approve.

Awsome !! :goofy: Did you get it for your husband too ? :) I want to add you to our spreadsheet, give me some good news girl! :)

yesterday 6/25/14 i got two emails no text that 2 petitions were approved at VSC. i filed one on 12/2/2013 and the other on 3/7/2014

Hooray ! :dancing: That is great ! :dancing:

ok guys here is my update of service request...

My case is in Additional Review. :)

    http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/503234-i130-additional-review-service-request-nabraska/

    :(:( :(

I hope it will not take them too much time now to give you your noa2! *crossing fingers*

NOA on 1.2, got our REF.

Sorry to hear that. I bet it is something simple :)

and I saw on our spreadsheet that some quiet VJ members got their approvals too - Congrats Shareez , Sumair and janoka :dancing:

  8. Thats really depressing, no doubt, What i have found after so many calls is that All these Customer Services, Tier 1, Tier 2, E-Request, Infopass, Congress Man Involvement is just there to buy time so that USCIS can process cases on their own terms and no body could ask them that why they are bypassing people like us.

Hope for the Best, because even after using all the options provided by USCIS to get the current status of your case, you can not/not in a position to convict them for giving us so much stress...

Hope for the best :) cheerup...

Did you go to Info Pass ? how was it ?

  9. Any update nanana, Whats your plans now, did u file e request any plan for info pass???

Have no idea why they are taking so long, PD 4 Dec got stuck and ...Damn....not in a very good mood...

we can't file e-request , We did one on May 19th and now it says that we need to wait 30days from the date of filing the previous one, so maybe tomorrow, infopass is not an option for us, because the nearest office is more than 2houres drive from my hubby's city and he has to work (busy season) so there is no way he could find time to go for one :( and the tiers on the phone give us c r a p all the time..

that is so depressing.. and so annoying to see how they jump around and continue to skip us !

but hang in there folks! we are getting closer!

  10. california_luv I was really hoping you will get approved right away after this message of arn change! but they are taking their sweet time to be slow as much as possible. s u c k s !

in my box of 200 cases around my case "only" 25 left with case status that still says Initial Review.. ( I should say among 100 cases because the other 100 of numbers are not I130) .. so I am not the only one with my PD that is still waiting.. :(

fyzah I hope you will get approval soon ! I wish you strength for the next days/weeks/months without your husband by your side! *HUG*

    Congrats lindsay.sheaves

  11. JUST GOT APPROVED!!!!!! =D (PD December 23rd at Nebraska)

And my birthday is tomorrow, couldn't have asked for a better birthday gift.

Praying everyone else get's approved quickly.

great news ! :dancing: and Happy Birthday to you!

    Hey Guys,

We just received a hard copy of NOA2 from USCIS saying that the I-130 is approved and forwarded to NVC. It also says that NVC will be contacting the beneficiary for whom you are petitioning.

But I read some where else on the govt. website that NVC will contact the petitioner and the petitioner has to fill some more forms and send in the original documents including proof of financial support and pay processing fees to NVC after which only the file will be forwarded to the right consulate in the foreign country and then the consulate contacts the beneficiary. Is it right? or has the NVC changed the procedure?

    Thanks

    Walter

hey, you can find all answers for your questions in here http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process also there is a thread for NVC filers http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/498764-nvc-filers-june-2014/ Good luck !!
