I see a couple of approved applications from the Oct filters list above that show N400 at the end.
For NUOVOMONDO and CUTE PANSY
I might be wrong, but I think they had their ROCs actually approved at the N-400 interview, so technically, they're not someone who had the ROC approved with a pending N-400.

Thank you, it is tough and surreal, I will stay strong for my husband and heal.
I can only imagine.
I'm also in a "May/December" relationship, and I understand where you're coming from.
Please take care of yourself and keep your chin up.
Sending you positive thoughts from South Florida.

My husband passed away yesterday, I submitted an emergency request to cover the 751 to a waiver application. Very tough times.
I'm beyond speechless...
I'm so sorry for your loss.

I would hazard against using the screenshot. In my past experiences with CO,'s they do not want to be told how USCIS operates nor want to hear from you that you possibly know more than them. Just my word of caution.
I agree and decided against it.
I'll just chill out and keep my travel plans as is, and simply wait for the Oath Ceremony letter when it comes.
Thanks for chiming in!

Application called case trucker . Go to previous days of this forum . Somebody has mentioned it and that’s how I found about it ! You can search up to 500 cases
Thank you, I have it, but I guess because my receipt is from November 2016, and there doesn't seem to be any movement for cases AFTER mine.
What digits (approximately) should I look for to see recently approved petitions, please?

October cases which they reviewed today 23th March , yesterday 22th and on Wednesday 21th
Where/How were you able to see that? I'd be keen to know.

Alright, everyone!
A quick update on my situation.
As I mentioned, I had my interview on March 12 (combined ROC and N-400) and was recommended for approval.
As of today, I have yet to be put in line for the Oath Ceremony, so I decided to go to the Field Office and inquire as to what is happening. The officer that assisted me was very professional and kind. He had a look at my Naturalization Interview Results and my expired Green Card, and then mentioned that the reason why I have not received an invitation to attend the Oath Ceremony is the following:
They have a new system in place and they are not able to "approve" my ROC because of that, which means they can't schedule me for the Oath Ceremony. He said that he can see I had the interview and that I was recommended for approval, but that until they can actually change my ROC status to approved in their "new" system, I unfortunately have to wait.
He mentioned that ROC applications are stuck nationwide, to which I replied that I knew of other applicants who just had their applications approved at "Service Centers" level, both at VT and CA. He said that at the field office that's what's going on at the moment and could not give me an estimated timeline of when this will be resolved.
Long story short, it sucks. I'll try to get another appointment for Monday to see what's going on once again. I did print a screenshot of someone who just got approved (just the date and the "we approved your case" information), and hopefully they will be able to do something about it.
We have travel plans for specific special occasions, and not having a specific timeline of when this will be resolved is frustrating to say the least.
To anyone who had their ROC approved with the N-400 recently, please let me know. Also to anyone interviewing for the N-400 with a pending ROC in the next few days/weeks, please keep me posted, even with a personal message.
Thanks!

Hi, I filed online yesterday. When I downloaded the N-400 pdf version I found out that there is an incorrect year date for my school year. I am wondering if there is any way I could modify it and correct it. Thanks for reading my question, I shall be very thankful for your answers.
The officer will go through the entire application with you at the interview, and you will be able to make amendments at that time.

If you are filing under the 3-year rule, USCIS will only look at the past 3 years as being relevant in regards to the work/address history portion of the application.
Yup, I did the same.

Did you file online?
Yes, I did.

Just the green card.

I'm a Sept 2016 filer of ROC. Sept 2017 N-400 filer and I'm still waiting also. According to Seattle N-400 processing times, I'm still looking at another 6 months wait.I found looking at timelines for other applicants within one's same field office gives a greater understanding of what the wait time may be.
I hope you receive an interview letter ASAP.

Yes it’s really a long wait. And I check the N400 processing times on where I live, they’re current processing Feb 2017. So it means it’s a 1 year of waiting?
Don't pay attention to those, they're usually not accurate. The ones for my field office, for instance, are not.
13 minutes ago, babe2012 said:And for the joint bank accounts (N-400 application) did you send the statement the day u got married?
No. I sent them in continuation from my ROC application.

Before you applied the 400, are you one of the filer that says that there I-751 has been moved to your local office?
No, but just because I applied in November 2017, and I received that message you mentioned on February 26, 2018. My ROC application and supporting documents were indeed on the officer's desk when she interviewed me/us.

Congratulations!!! For your ROC, are you a VSC or a CSC filer? And where is the field office that you applied at for your 400?
Thanks, babe2012.
I'm a November 2016 CSC filer, and my field office is Oakland Park, FL.
The ROC interview was triggered by the N-400 petition. I never received anything for the ROC, only the letter for the citizenship interview.
Hope this helps.

Congrats!
I am so happy Katya decided to file the N400 instead of waiting for the ROC. She filed the I751 in December 2016 and filed the N400 in Mid-January 2018. We waited a few weeks since she was heading to see her mom and she did not want to be caught with a biometrics appointment while away. Anyway, based on the Detroit processing times, we were expecting a 7-8 month wait, so imagine our surprise when she got the text/email/NOA regarding the interview being scheduled April 10. For her, it was less than 3 months from filing to Interview for the N400. Good thing she has already been studying US Civics and prepping for the interview. I will definitely be there with her for the interview, so if they want to talk to me about the I751, that will be fine. I am just happy to seeing the light growing bigger at the end of the tunnel for her and I.
Exactly!
Good for you, Bill and Katya, you're almost there!

Congratulations!
It seems like it can really go either way whether they will have reviewed our I-751 files or not by the time we have our interview. Interesting.
Thanks, Soapface!
Yes, that does seems to be the case. I was lucky in that I didn't have to argue with the officer, but ultimately, it seems as if even those that are not up to speed with the process end up reviewing the applicant's ROC on their own and then issue an approval (provided the documents warrant that, of course).
I wish you the best for your interview on April 3!

For whatever reason I ignored the existence of this thread, so here I am now! November 2016 ROC filer, and November 2017 N-400 filer.
I had my N-400 interview on March 12, 2018 (with a pending ROC application). After reading much about it here on VJ, I was confident that the ROC would be adjudicated prior to the citizenship interview, so I brought my husband along, and sure enough, we were called together to have the ROC interview first, and then he was made to leave so that I could go through the citizenship interview.
The officer did have my huge folder on her desk, and the conversation concerning the ROC was a friendly and pleasant one. She went through the details included in the application (for both interviews actually), and then asked very simple questions about our married life, friends, etc..
Considering I applied for citizenship in November of 2017, and it only took 4 months to go through the process, and also considering that CSC has yet to process November 2016 ROC filers, I'll say I am VERY happy I went forward with the N-400 application.
Now all I have to do is wait for USCIS to schedule the Oath Ceremony, and then I'll finally be able to conclude this very long process.
Best of luck to everyone!

Thank you, from past trends it looks like oath at my field office takes place anywhere from a few days after the interview to about 4 weeks after. So hopefully I won't be waiting much longer to be scheduled.
That's correct...

Thanks @Nikkosan, it is definitely encouraging to see others who interviewed the same date as you getting oath scheduled.
I have been looking for other VJ'ers from my Baltimore field office who interviewed around the same date as me but have not found any on this forum. How/where did you find those from your field office who interviewed on the same date as you?
Here!

No update of any kind yet, 8 days after my interview. My online account still shows Interview Scheduled.
I'm also in limbo, but only since this past Monday. I looked at timelines for my specific field office and found someone who interviewed on the 7th and whose status changed to Oath Scheduled on the 12th, so that was encouraging.
Perhaps you may want to look for other VJers in your field office?

Hi Nikkosan,
Great list, thanks
Pleasure!
2 hours ago, ezsosa said:Thanks, but that is a standard list, I was looking for something more exhausive.
Dude, you were asking ME, about MY experience, and that is literally what I brought. To be even more specific, of those things, I was only asked to show my passport and driver's license.
I did not bring any passport style photos, nor was I asked to provide them with any (they took my fingerprints and yet another picture with a webcam).
Perhaps you should find someone interviewing at your same field office, and even then I bet each case is slightly different. I found out that common sense and following directions usually help.
Good luck!

Hi Nikkosan,
Could you please list the document you brought to the interview, was it based on 3 years marriage?
It was based on 3-year marriage, and we also had a pending ROC which was taken care of BEFORE the citizenship interview.
I brought the documents listed on the interview appointment letter (the ones pertaining to me in RED):
You MUST BRING the following with you to the interview:
• This letter.
• Your Alien Registration Card ("green card").
• Any evidence of Selective Service Registration.
• Your passport and/or any other documents you used in connection with any entries into the United States.
• Those items noted below which are applicable to you: If applying for NATURALIZATION AS THE SPOUSE of a United States Citizen;
• Your marriage certificate.
• Proof of death or divorce for each prior marriage of yourself or spouse.
• Your spouse's birth or naturalization certificate or certificate of citizenship.
If applying for NATURALIZATION as a member of the United States Armed Forces;
• Your discharge certificate, or form DD214. If copies of a document were submitted as evidence with your N400 application, the originals of those documents should be brought to the interview.
