I would think you would be able to book a July interview.

So I didn't want to say anything in case I jinx it, but I just can't help myself....Our status changed to Ready and our case creation date changed to todays date! It also changed to a Nonimmigrant visa and the "jargon" now says some different things. I think we are approved
I hope this glitch with the printing of visas with DOS doesn't take too long to fix!
I am so relieved and happy. Andre even called me crying he was so happy. Bless his heart. We both saw the change around the same time LOL

VisaJourney data is NOT fact. It is information input by MEMBERS who often make mistakes. It is in no way government affiliated. The only data that is FACT can be found on the USCIS website. Just because you were approved within a certain time frame doesn't mean everyone will be. When your petition was being processed, they were expediting every case from the Philippines whether you asked for it or not. They are not doing this anymore. So yes, you were lucky. If you would look at actual data and not VJ timelines you would know this. I don't understand why you are even trying to start an argument in the first place. Why does it matter to you? It is what it is and everyone has been trying to tell you this. You are mistaken...it happens...move on with you day.

I can source two different February boards on here: the one started for all feb filers and the one started because the TSC filers were (rightfully) getting discouraged. Just about all of us from the original feb group are through our interviews. Some have already relocated and married. I don't know of any TSC February filers who can say the same. Trying to convince any TSC filers that it's not taking too much longer than CSC filers is futile. It's clear there is a huge difference in time lines. And requested or not, you were expedited. Lucky you.

Hi there!
From reading other threads from people at TSC, service requests cannot be put in until 6 months now (which I think is RIDICULOUS!) Also, it may look like people are being approved that sent their petitions in after you, but a lot of people are mistaking TSC with the Dallas Lockbox and a majority of those people, I would say, were actually sent to CSC. I think now would be an acceptable time for a congressional inquiry. Your country has nothing to do with it! I would definitely start contacting my Congressman and Senators! There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason as to the order they approve petitions. There is a February TSC thread floating around here somewhere that could be informative for you!
Good luck and keep us posted!
ETA: My status date updated again, but still no "ready" status

Oh I forgot to say that I live less than an hour drive from Bloomington! I live in Seymour which is a farm town with lots of factories pretty much, but not far at all

It kills me that 3 (or more) of us are from Indiana....who woulda thunk it. Whenever Andre gets to come, I will be picking him up at the Indianapolis Airport also. Luckily whenever we finally get Issued, he is ready to move so he can buy the ticket and come in a couple of days after that. He is now hoping to work until the 25th and come either the 28th or 29th. I'm really hoping this works out
Congrats to everyone that has things going on right now!
Where did Rachel go? Are you married yet??????????? Don't forget about us!

Abby & Andre reacted to K1 visa applicant in AP - Canada
I'm back in AP. So much for not checking the internet ever 30 mins... But that's the update for today. I very honestly spent a few mintues this morning talking to the universe for the three of us (it's my form of prayer). I asked for something to happen for all three of us before the weekend. I hope it works!

Abby & Andre reacted to froschundblumen in Medical Examination (Dr Ian Zatzman) - What To Bring?
i just had my medical on Thursday (with Dr. Lyndon, but I assume the process is very similar). Here's what happened:
- I arrived, the receptionist asked for my passport and my vaccination history, which she photocopied
- She asked me to fill out a form that included basic information like my name, address, MTL #, date of interview etc.
- She sent me to get blood work and xray done
- They drew one vial of blood
- I waited to see Dr. Lyndon
- He asked me why I was planning on immigrating, made small talk
- he told me the xray was to check for TB and the blood test was to check for syphilis (and nothing else)
- he asked me some medical questions "Are you a generally healthy person? Do you take any medication? Any major surgeries?"
- he took my blood pressure
That was it. It was easy.

Abby & Andre reacted to Harpa Timsah in Filed the I-129f today with your help. Now I have questions!
Just to clarify: Canada isn't the place that "allows co-sponsors." It is the US embassy in Canada that allows it.

You're welcome and Good Luck!
If you haven't already, you should check out the Canada forum to get more Montreal specific information. There is a guide that is very helpful for when you get to the interview stage.

I believe you will need the I-134, copy of 2013 tax return with W-2's OR tax transcript, employer letter (optional), paystubs (optional), and may even need a copy of their birth certificate or passport to prove citizenship. We will not be using a cosponsor so I haven't researched it all that much, but too much information is better than not enough in my opinion!

I do not think your income will be included. If she does not make more than 125% above the poverty line, Canada allows cosponsors. Does she have a friend or family member that would cosponsor with her to help you guys out?

Abby & Andre got a reaction from GodRaine in Filed the I-129f today with your help. Now I have questions!
Here are the guidelines: http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864p.pdf
It is $19662 for a household of 2. If you use a cosponsor, their household size will also have to be added to the 2 of you, but as long as hers plus the cosponsor's income supports all household members then you'll be OK. Good luck to you!

There are several countries that do not allow the USC to have a cosponsor to meet the financial requirements. Canada is a country that allows cosponsors which is a good thing when someone can't meet the financial requirements on their own. Sponsors have to be US Citizens with US income.

Abby & Andre reacted to Emily and Nathan in Received NOA2? Prove it!
Does the N in NYC2014 stand for Negative-Nancy... lol
You really need to calm the heck down. And not concern yourself with the actions of others so much. Conduct yourself honestly... that's all you can do.. you can't control the choices of others. I have no idea how lying about receiving an NOA2 would feed someones ego. lol My ego... which is small..lol Would not be increased by telling people lies about my status in the immigration process? lol Ridiculous.. Any even if.. say someone did lie... for some reason unknown.. or for their "ego"... WHO CARES... it doesn't impact you any... Go out in the street and start demanding to see everyone's drivers license that you think is lying about their age.. or who they are.. see how that goes for you buddy... It's gonna go the same as it is going to go on here... A big N-O. I think you are a troll because your logic is missing exactly that..logic.

Hell and no, in that order. Members here owe you nothing. Either believe them or don't.
Additionally, people who've been members for eight days aren't really in a position to rewrite the rules.
