  1. No pain, no gain.
  2. I don't know about the rest, but I would definitely stay away from Turkey for dental work. We have seen a LOT of problem with dental work done there. Sounds like the OP needs a well qualified oral surgeon and, although we don't know the problem, with their numerous chronic illnesses this may well be a hospital based surgery and we all know what that means.
  3. 👍 So this is your new Mexican hottie...
  4. As a dentist I'm trying to wrap my head around this very simple complex maxillary dental surgery.
  5. Tell Mama T-B you're going to meet a Mexican hottie and get married.
  6. Jasmine Crockett for Texas senator? Oh man, those people in Texas are wacky.
  7. Did they do away with Brownies? (The Girl Scout version of Cub Scouts)
  8. Well, let's see. How did buying Warner Brothers work out for AOL? And then ATT?
  9. I'll admit that is very true, cold weather being anything below 70 degrees.
  10. They don't get hurricanes on the gulf coast of Texas? In Florida a hurricane is just a reason to close schools/work and have a party.
  11. I've never served in the military, nor even registered for Selective Service so I'm not aware of the rules. Just strikes me as odd that it's OK to kill drug running terrorists on the first shot/bombing attempt, but a second second shot/bombing to finish the job is forbidden.
  12. Oh, wait. You're not one of those parents that walks their kid to the school bus stop and hangs out there until they are safely on the bus, are you? 👍 How many years has it been since you cavorted with the rubias? Not here in SW Florida!😁
  13. No, No, NO! Ketchup never goes on a hot dog!
  14. No Friday shopping for us as we were celebrating Thanksgiving that day. Did add a few items to my Amazon cart. Noticed they had a nice deal on jock itch cream... LOL
  15. We had our Thanksgiving yesterday, Friday, thanks to sharing and alternating with my ex. No problem. Our Thursday true Thanksgiving meal was sloppy Joes! We had my daughter and her husband and their 2 year old twins and husband's sister, my son and his wife and their two girls, 5 and 7, and my wife's daughter and husband and their two boys, 6 and 8. Wife's daughter and family have been staying with us since Monday as stated above. My 92 yo mother was thinking about coming but backed out because 1, she gets nervous with all the kids yelling and screaming and running, and 2, she knew she would say something she shouldn't.... she's losing her "filter" in her old age. Had the usual turkey that cooked up perfectly this year, stuffed green peppers that my wife made for those that may already be tired of turkey, stuffing, mashed potato, sweet potato fries, gravy, green beans, carrots, beet salad my wife makes, sourdough bread I made fresh, corn bread, three cakes (one because it was the twins birthday), pecan pie, and brownies I forgot to serve. Plenty of beer, bourbon, wine spritzers and white claws were consumed yet there was no fighting! The day was a success. Only down side was that we had planned to eat outside by the pool but a cool front came through the night before and it was chilly in the morning, mid 50's. By meal time it was lower 70's and it might have been ok, but we had already set up the table inside and I told the wife I was not going to move everything. I was a little tired as I had been up since 5 am making bread and preparing. We did have the older kids eat outside... easy clean up that way. After the meal the boys went swimming. Pool had cooled off to 82 which is a little too cold especially on a cool day. Wouldn't you know it was the only cool day in a two week period.
  16. LOL I miss Kip. As I remember VJ couldn't wait to get rid of him. I used to communicate with him on Facebook, but not in some time now. Last I knew his ex-wife moved down here to south FL.
  17. A few weeks ago I watched an episode of Frontline about the drug war in Ecuador. Most of the program was in Esmeraldas? Northern Ecuador. A lot of shot up bodies, and NO attractive women.
  18. I'm still rooting for you two. And think how happy Mini-B will be. Nothing special about rubias. Been there and done that a couple of times. Next time around I'm trying something different!
  19. I think I'll go to Walmart tomorrow. Probably around 6am.
  20. Give her a big hug and kiss...for all of us.
  21. And THAT is why you should be shopping at 6am!
  22. Moving this over to the proper thread: Time for a pre-Thanksgiving rant. My two kids and the associated grand kids as well as my wife's daughter and associated grand kids will be at our house for Thanksgiving.... on Friday! This year we agreed that my ex-wife would get to celebrate with my kids on Thursday. I understood that my wife's bunch were coming over from across the state on Wednesday, but at the last minute they decided to come Monday...ugh. Those two grand kids are ADHD terrors on steroids, and their parents don't bother to discipline them. (OK, they probably don't have ADHD, but the parents aren't doing their job) Only takes a few minutes and our house looks like a tornado passed thru. We worked Monday and Tuesday, and today was the first time in a long while I really looked forward to going to work! I need a drink, or two. More to follow.
  23. I make my super liberal British son in law watch conservative news programs with me. He knows better than to open his mouth.
