Yup Yup. If'n Forbes has crucified him, well, I'm sorry - it's just not happening, this foray into being an American Hero.
    But I digress.
I laughed at folk supporting Palin, I laughed at folk supporting Bachmann,
    but
I think it takes the same level of stupidity, to follow those two as it does Cruz. I'm just not having any.
    No Thank You.

I think the word "hero" has been WAAAAAAAAAAAYY overused, when you can call a self-serving junior politician with less than 1 year's experience a hero. Either that or you're deliberately appropriating the word 'hero' to elevate someone you admire to prominence.
Please save the word for someone far more deserving, such as 343 firefighters who went in when everyone else was coming out; or the Marine who falls on a grenade to save his buddies' lives; or medical personnel who turn their backs on riches to minister to some of the world's poor and disaster-devastated; or even NFL star Pat Tillman, giving up his riches, and career to serve his country.

No, no. Obama's rating of 44% is national. Nationally, Cruz is at 21%. Only in Texas does he garner 39%.
Now, you started this thread to celebrate the American Hero Ted Cruz. But if Cruz is a labled an American hero at 21%, then Obama surely is motherf**king superstar at more than twice the rating of that supposed American Hero.

I'm aware of that. That's why I gave you the relevant sentence from the article. I'm confident that if you try hard and read it a few times, you'll get the idea. Here it is again:
In the most recent poll taken in the Lone Star State, only 39 percent of Texans hold a favorable view of their recently elected senator.
Just so we're clear, 39% is a minority.

Okay, I almost pizzed my pants laughing about that level of stupidity. That's a new low even for you, NB. And that is something I thought is all but impossible. Cruz an American Hero. Just when you thought it couldn't get any more ridiculous.

Zero tolerance policies cause this kind of problem. However, being fair it wasn't the fact that it was a box associated with fishing that was the problem, it was the fact that the box contained knives and knives are banned.

Yes, removal of conditions is the process where she gets the 10-year green card. If she is divorced, she does not have to wait until the 2 years is almost up. She can file immediately after the divorce is final. No, she does not need another I-864. That was just when applying for a green card.
Once the immigrants gets a green card, the I-864 cannot be withdrawn.
It's not just 10 years. If she doesn't work and doesn't become a citizen, it lasts forever.
You knew the risk you were taking when you signed it.

I'm sorry but why should she be the one doing all the effort? Why should she bend herself to be 'what he likes in women' if he supposedly loved her in the first place? Why should she promise him things will change since she will start working too? Which things? She never did anything wrong. He should become this 'better person'. And she can choose to accept this effort (and try to rebuild the relationship) or not. Waiting for her to come over is not an excuse to cheat.

If you can forgive to forget, then try. You don't have to forgive and forget right away. But only you can make that decision. My cousin was in a similar cheating situation with her husband (then boyfriend)--she decided to give him a second chance and they've been married for 6 years now with no problems. The decision to stay together, however, was made by both of them. The husband committed to making changes and she committed to allowing him to prove himself and to forgive and slowly forget. You cannot choose by yourself to stay in the relationship. Like someone said, maybe he has already made his decision and you just don't know... So, sit down with him and tell him how you feel and urge him to keep his promise and go to counseling NOW. Before you get married or split (whatever you decide)
Just make sure that whatever you choose to do, you are ok with it. Don't choose to stay because he chooses to stay in the relationship. Be ok with whatever decision you take, first. Don't let anyone influence you into staying or leaving. Good luck!

In some culture they do not display public affection, but once the door is closed is another story. The guy never told that he loved you , you had to ask, the guy never said you are beautiful, you had to ask, they guy never kissed you if you did not start, the guy did not touch if you did not initiate...well reading your post I am sorry to be honest but it seems he had zero love and/or desire for you. A man madly in love will never act like that at all! I am glad you said enough, you deserve better.

You've only been applying a week? I'd give it more time. I don't know the field, but I think it's premature to say that everyone requires US experience when you've only been looking for a week.

    It loooks fine to me.
Personally, I would omit the section about not having children. Purely having a child with someone doesn't mean you are in an ongoing relationship (they would want to see proof that both parents are equally engaged in the child's life etc.), plus it sounds a bit overly apologetic and it's about an issue/decision that is strictly personal and frankly, none of USCIS' business. If I was writing this, I would keep it strictly focused on the financial co-mingling part.
But that's just my personal opinion and if you really want to leave it in, it's not going to hurt your case.
For what it's worth, our ROC was approved in 3.5 months without an RFE and some of our evidence was less than perfect, but we were approved without problems. My husband and I have been married for over 3 years now, we don't have any kids as of yet, and this was never an issue with USCIS, there were no questions or RFEs about it etc. For what it's worth.
    Best of luck!

Oh no! It's Inspector Gary Clouseau! Last time he tried this he harassed a poor abused woman and told her she was a fake. He used his "super language skills" to tell her that she couldn't speak English that well. And he never came back to say sorry when he was proved wrong, Poor woman.

user19000 reacted to Dave&Roza in Removal of Conditions on Residency
File for divorce and move on with your life. Do not worry about his immigration status. That is his problem and he can file for removal of conditions (ROC) after the divorce, but he will have to prove that he entered into the marriage in good faith and not to obtain a GC. You can write the USCIS a letter stating why you think the marriage was a fraud, but they will in all likelihood see it as a scorned wife venting unless you have solid proof.
He can file for ROC without being married to you. There is little you can do that will affect his immigration status--that is his responsibility. You need to live your life and not worry about him. Divorce and move on.
    Good luck,
    Dave
