Hey...I travel a lot too since my family live all over the world. I have quad-citizenship at the moment.
I made an excel spreadsheet and entered in the dates of arrival and departure and used a simple formula to take the sum of all the days I was out of the country.
I had to go into my gmail and collect all the flight itineraries which took the most time and write everything down in a time line fashion.

What you did on the W-4 doesn't matter. You may end up having to pay more tax for not witholding enough or visa versa.

It's within their purview to conduct any and all background checks up to the point of your oath taking.

Hello everyone
To sum it up
I had my interview back in July based on three year rule
Officer said all good but we need to consolidate all your files
I have an old Green card with a different number that I abandoned when I moved back to my home country
Fast forward to today
I just received a letter from uscis stating that a decision cannot be made until the back ground check is completed
I am puzzled - background check after the N-400 interview
I thought they do the due diligence after the finger print before the interview
Any similar situations - advice please ?

I have my I-751 and N400 Interviews coming up on the same day next month. I understand they will adjudicate the I-751 first and then the N400. Anybody else who has had this experience can share on what to expect on that day.

Why are you asking a second time? The first reply was correct; your case will be reset and started from scratch. There is no medical involved; do you mean the biometrics appointment (which is distinctly not a medical)? If so, then yes, you will need to do that again. As was already stated (x2), they will already know all about you when you re-apply.

I'm trying to apply for citizenship again!
I withdraw bed my first time application, after interview and passed knowledge exam.
Should I worry? Anything need to know before I apply again?

Umm, medical is NOT a part of the naturalization exam. Please clarify what you're trying to do so people can help you.

Everything starts from scratch, they have already known your file so no need to worry about.

I was interviewed by immigration officer, passed the knowledge exam. But I withdrawn my application because I wasn't able to gather the documents I was requested.
I'm ready to apply again now.
My question is:
Do I have to do the medical exam again?
Do I need to mention that I applied before and did the medical exam and passed the knowledge exam?
Any disadvantages I have as second time applicant?

Hi,
Does anyone know how to send proof of payment for my IO who interviewed me? I had my interview on Aug 20th and I was recommended for approval,although I owed federal tax $6,000 because I ammended my tax.
IO asked me if I have a payment plan with the IRS and I told her they didn't process it yet and I thought she would say "decision cannot be made" but she approved it instead.
Well I pay off my bill in full and I don't know how to send it in proof of payment. My husband thinks that why I didn't get the oath letter.
My sister in law couldn't take her oath on Sept 11 and they rescheduled her-so she's taking the oath today,so I'm feeling a bit bummed.
