    if CBP pulls aside there is a good chance ESTA will get revoked. As other folks have indicated having a B1/B2 visa shows the consulate has vetted you and you will be better off entering on B1/B2 rather than ESTA.

    You’ve come to a free forum looking for free help from people who are giving you their time for free. 
     
    It would be a good idea to do some research on your own too. You’re not helpless. Don’t play that card. 
     
    if you’re not happy with the help and guidance then pay a lawyer.

    I agree.  OP, own your process.  Take responsibility for educating yourself on the process.  No one else is more invested in it than you.

    I’m not sure how his advising you to read the AOS process is rude 🙄
     
    perhaps if you actually took time to take his advise, read the requirements and help yourself like the rest of us ladies do you wouldn’t be quite so helpless.. after all, you seemed perfectly capable when it came to creating the situation, now you need to work at resolving it too.

    I've been helping you.  Instead of being rude to someone helping you, maybe you should actually read the Guides so you can help yourself.  
     
    This is a do-it-yourself forum.
     
    Pointing you to the Guides so you can read and understand the AOS process is better than you asking random questions about different parts of the AOS process.
     
    Don't play the "helpless woman" part.  That's demeaning to women.  Read the Guides and empower yourself.

    I think you need to change your circle of friends. Previously a friend told you the K-1 no longer existed and only spousal visas were possible. Now a friend is telling you that divorcees cannot petition their fiancées.
     
    Unless you heard it from USCIS or read it on the official USCIS website, it’s not true.
