When I mail my packet of documents to my fiancé, does he need a copy of the NOA2 letter or the original letter? I’ve heard it both ways, so I’m just wondering if anybody knows for sure what is required.
Also, in my packet of documents I have a copy of my birth certificate and copy of his birth certificate. Or do they require originals or a certified copy?
I sent you a PM.

Nice. Ask him if it feels different to duggu duggu in Ja vs the US? If you don't understand what I'm asking/can't repeat the question ask him to read the question himself.
Looking forward to your reply.
well..after many attempts to say it...he said "BETTER...MUCH BETTER". you all are nuts!!! You too Pinkrlion!!

Smh.
JCricket your husband/fiance there yet?
Yep! He's here!!!!

Shoes are an addiction, cause I am not big on jewelry, my main accessory are my shoes with an outfit.
Changing subjects!!!
Cannot wait to see opening ceremonies tonight. Me and my fiance have a battle at the track going on for Team USA vs. Jamaica.
Agree! Its going to be exciting to watch. Although I think Bolt will take it again.

Good move. A girl gotta have her private space. I have an entire large closet for my fiancee when she arrives. And it has space for more than 50 pairs of shoes
Dang...you people roll hard! I need this man to get a job so I can catch up with you all!
-
I know he will. I have probably 100 pair. I am cleaning the closet in the guest bedroom, so my fiancé will have space for his stuff. My closet is off limits.
Dang girl!!! I dont think I have 10 pairs of shoes.
I guess Im waiting for my man to get employed so that I can get caught up witcha!

I had family there but they've moved. I was thinking that dependent upon the month, dude might have to POE to CHI, cause non-stop flights fom MBJ stop in September to STL. So we can link up then. Also, when they put in the high speed train from us to you, it will be 2 hours. ROAD TRIP!
deal!! We'll link up soon!

Saint Louie. We are 4 hours from each other by either I-55 or I-57.
That's great! We'll have to make a trip sometime. We're all about traveling. We may just meet you in St. Louie someday!

does anyone know how current the job letter has to be? ours is dated end of june for a possible interview date in late september..........
I'm not sure either. But is it a hassle to get one closer to the interview date? And I also agree with Islandgal...the pay stubs would support it. So that's a helpful answer huh??
We just had our interview and I dont recall him telling me they looked at it.

Sit......still......and........don't......think.
Don't even think about being cool, doesn't work. If anyone wants to talk beyond Hi and Bye, dismiss them.

1)Cheap Nokia from Digicel is good (approx $20-$50US)
2)Get international plan (approx $15US/month)
Even if you get an inexpensive unlocked phone in the US, it may cost you more than a pretty penny get it cleared. Of course this depends on if it is a smart phone or not. If it is the latter might as well buy a simple phone in Ja. If the former and you have no one the personally transport it for you, then my advice is forget it. Hopefully with a little patience, he'll be joining you in the US this time next year where he will be on your plan + have a fancy phone. Save money where you can since you both seem to be pretty strapped for cash not to mention a pricey unplanned trip occurred.
I like your style!!!

Anyone else experiencing this EXTREME heat we are having????
How are you attempting to stay cool????
-
Nice. Congrats!

My man's phone broke recently as well. He went and got a cheap one in Ochi just to be able to get and recieve his calls. No frills. He knew he would be up here soon so he didnt bother with a nicer phone. I told him he isnt rolling around down there with a better phone than me
The phone wont work up here anyhow so what is he planning on doing with it when he leaves?

I bought a Nokia from Digicel and it only cost me 20 US.

My employment letter was pretty basic. maybe 2-3 sentences. It said that I am employed with this company for 15 years. My current salary is $$. That was it. I provided 1 year of tax and 6 months a paystubs.

ok so i was wondering how long after interview does it take to get the visa in JamaicA? my husband wouldnt have it mailed to him he would pick it up at the DHL office so does tht make a difference? and can u pay to have ur visa at a faster time than regular?
We just got our visa approved yesterday. They told him anywhere between 7-14 days. I've seen some wait a likkle longer. I've also seen some that get them as quick as 4 days. Either way...I'm happy he is getting his.

EAD&SSN Question
in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas
Posted
Just have a quick question....can I apply for the SSN & EAD at this point? Not the AOS. I have to complie some additional paperwork (taxes) but would like to get the work permit moving along. He arrived 07/19 - got married 7/26. I would have liked to process it all at once, but that is not going to be the case. Your response it appreciated. Thanks everyone!
