Did everyone get their fiance to sign it before they e-mailed it, or did they use an electronic signature?

Thanks Everyone, I will try again. Fiance said when he went to pick up his mail yesterday, he did not receive anything.

Mine signed his and then scanned it and emailed it back to me. I sent it to the embassy.

I e-mailed Embassy for Packet 3, and they said they mailed it to fiance, what do I need to say in e-mail to get them to send me the info via either one of our e-mail addresses?

Do you have the appointment date? Call the DOS and ask them for the appointment date. Then I emailed the embassy asking them for the appointment letter so that we can proceed with the medical appointment.

I say UPS or DHL. And the sooner the better. Keep a copy just in case it isnt received before the inteview. You can alway FedEx it. But only use that option for an emergency. I had to send my package via FedEx days before his inteview and it cost me $110. And thats not JA dollars.

My man didnt get anything until a few days before the interview. I didnt even get the email you got until I asked for it.

I'm not sure about any medical form. My guy didnt bring anything (except his appointment letter) to his medical. He didnt have any immunization records. He just showed up at Hope Medical.

Ok...Papa's medical appointment has been set and he is making ready for his interview. But what I need to know now...Is there a specific medical form other than immunization records that he needs to take to the medical exam or will that be provided by the physician? Does he need to just go and pay the visa processing fee at the bank or will he receive some sort of bill? Any help will be greatly appreciated. If he has his immunization records...he should bring it. Otherwise, they will give him the shots he will need. And the visa fee is paid for at NCB. Bring the receipt to the interview.

I was able to get my date through the DOS. It took about 4 days after the embassy recevied the DS230. 4 business days. Good luck...its coming!

OK, I am totally geeked to the point I forgot to ask all of my questions. NVC received today my petition, and I have to call them back by Wednesday with Fiance's e-mail address.

I waited for the approval as well. Its rather to difficult to determine a wedding date under these processes. We went to city hall after his arrival and are planning a marraige celebration in the near future.

The NVC sent my case on August 2nd. So it hasn't even been 4 days. My fiance just filled out the DS-230 form, so on Monday he is thinking of mailing it to the Embassy. Do you think it's better to email vs mail it?

Email it. Either person can email it.

So from my understanding, the Embassy in Jamaica needs the DS-230 form in order to schedule the interview. The NVC sent my case to the Embassy last week. Can we mail in the DS-230 form now or should we wait until we get packet 3 and/or confirm that the Embassy receives the case? I read that we need to email the Embassy to see if they received the case and it may take 5 days to hear back from them.

When did the NVC send the package to Jamaica? If its been 4 days...You can email the signed DS230 to the embassy. The next day you should get an email that says "received & submitted". Then wait about 4 days and call the DOS and ask them if an interview date has been established.

Fee for EAD is waived if filed with or after the AOS. Some here are having their AOS interview scheduled and still no EAD. Why can't you file for the AOS? All that we sent in was the marriage certificate, a car title, and the petition along with the $1070--taxes where not ready until the interview. In looking at the I-765 you can file the EAD within 90 days after entry, but it expires when the I-94 does and cannot be renewed. Given the current processing times it would be a waste of money. You would have to stop working until the GC is approved anyway. See 6(a) on page 4 of the instructions. So you should file the AOS and the EAD/AP if you choose to.

You need to get the information you need together and file the AOS along with the EA and AP.
