You can e- mail it from your e-mail address or his, but it has to be signed with his signature on it.
The k-1 process is different, the embassy handles everything.

Isn't this lovely.
Soon Kenny will be...err...umm...AOSing too.

Hi guys - I have been busy sending the final paper work for my fiancee visa appointment next Friday, September 7.
Come on - the old westerns are great. And of course the old cartoons are enjoyable too
Heeyyy Kenny!! I was wondering where you were!!!!?? Congrats on the interview next week! And As for the westerns....he hasnt caught on to those yet. I think I would be able to tolerate those as well. I'm sure I'll find out soon enough.

I married my spouse after a K1 and filed for AOS which has not been approved yet. The relationship has had some bumps along the way but I honestly thought things would get better. They haven't they have gotten worse and I don't see any hope. I made a serious error in judgement and maybe my spouse just doesn't understand what marriage is about. I have tried to hang in there thru the AOS but just can't take it any longer . I think my spouse realizes there is no hope and there are signs that they are already looking for the next nest because they still need financial support in the near future. There are some other things going on that make me VERY uncomfortable. My problem is that there have been very vague threats if I stop the process before the AOS is approved. I don't know if they are serious but I am a bit concerned. If I stop everything now and they are out of status no one comes to pick them up right away. I am just as afraid of them hanging around illegally knowing I stopped the process. Should i just fund a way to get they AOS and then move on? Though i am concerned about being ties to aimeone that reacts this way. I do not belueve there was fraud. I think we both entered with good intentions it just doesnt wirk. Has anyone ever been in this situation? Post here or send me a private message. Didn't know where else to turn .
Sorry for typos.
I think what Mimolicious was getting at is that you state "they" or "them". When you only married a spouse.

Hmmmm...never heard of it. We didn't have that one in our check list. And I'm not seeing too much about that form on-line either. But maybe a likkle bump will get more checking this post out.

Thanks Pinkr, feeling normal again.
Good. You can give JCricket's husband a lobotomy for his movie selections. Just make sure he retains primary function.
I'm going to have to ask you guys to lay off the guys for watching cartoons. I like cartoons a lot. Makes me forget the grays I see popping up lately. I find western movies funny with all those curly hairs, filly frocks, pointed stiff breasts, and the lil boys saying 'Oh paw' and 'gosh golly'.
I pity you two if your husbands' should see a karate movie going on and I mean the one's from the 70's that 'take them back to their childhood'.
And actually I dont care what he watches. I'd prefer cartoons over the asian movies with subtitles. Those movies are cheesy to me.

So immigration on the phone said they got my visa application on monday because i expressed it. and when i call they tell me they havn't got it in the system yet.....why can't they just tell me on the phone. so i keep checking my email because that is how they contact me about everything. how long do i have to wait? seriously the 20 days they tell me? i thought that was worse case senario. i am dying of anxiety here. some support please nice words. thank you
The embassy doesnt communicate via the telephone. And the NVC can and has taken 20+ days to get the interview date in place. We all feel your anxiety. Whatever is going to happen is going to happen. Just relax and let everything fall into place.

Are we with the same man?
ADHD kicks in and he is watching a movie. I am like please can we watch something else, and he will watch anything on a movie channel or netflix, including cartoons - Tom and Jerry.
Exactly!!! He ONLY watches movie channels or of couse the soccer channel. Today we were watching some movie on Netflix and half the movie was in spanish with NO SUBTITLES!!!! Im like....um neither of us know spanish. WTH??? can we turn it? We dont even know what they are saying. He said...no mon...if you watch the movie...you'll get an idea about what they are saying. umm.....i'm outta here!!! Help!!!!!

Didn't feel well yesterday so I took some NyQuil just in case and made sure I would be able to get 8hrs sleep. Low and behold the next day cometh. Could I wake up this morning? Could I roll outta bed? Could I eat breakfast? Nope. All of today I was a walking zombie.
I think the word "NyQuil" had something to do with it. Whenever I take that....out cold for 24 hours. I gotta be VERY ill to take that stuff. Its the last draw when that goes into my system!!!

HHHHEEEEELLLLLOOOOOOO!!! Where is everybody??? I am bored at work
OMG!!! I was just thinking and saying the same thing and was going to post on here as well!! I'm bored too! If this husband of mine doesnt stop watching the most lamest movies on Netflix soon...I'm going to scream!!!! I work from home and he's watched every possible moving. And I'm not sure if you have any idea what that means....but Netflix isnt known for the best movie releases.

Ok so after reading all these post I have to add that my fiance filled out the DS 230 signed and submitted to the embassy on the 27th and they replied that he was eligible for an interview and his letter will be mailed to him within 6 to 8 weeks. I am so confused as to how other have gotten it emailed and we have to wait on the snail mail. just asking what to do at his point?
Call the Department of State and see if they have your interview date.
-
They need the original documents of everything. That is his birth certificate, police certificate, certificate of non-impediment, your original I-134 with supporting documentation (2011 tax return or tax transcript, payroll stubs, w-2, letter from employer), then your letters of intent to marry. It goes in the entire package. I just made a cover letter just like with my I-129f that lists everything that I included in the packet of information.
we didn't get an interview letter that details documents to bring. Also the k-1 guide does not tell you the specific forms to take to the consulate.
You can always email the embassy and ask them for the check list. At least that is what I did

Ok...Papa had his medical exam on yesterday...He was asked if he had ever smoked cannibus... He told them that he has smoked in the past and that he had recently stopped (months). He is sure that he will pass the drug test as he hasnt been smoking. However, I am concerned with the question... do you think that this will hinder him from getting his visa? Please someone...this is driving me crazy...to come so far just to lose out. Please help me!!!!
I've known people from the JA VJ crew that admitted during the medical, and tested clean but where denied. I've heard of people admitting to it, tested cleaned and getting through. At this point, there is nothing to do but wait for the results. This could get tricky at the interview. They may ask him if he's smoked before and if he tells them no....but just told the medical yes....this is also where it may hinder your application. Keep your fingers crossed. And good luck!!!

I agree with the priors, check into this.

Okay then what's a dulsi meana?
And depending on ur answer I'll spill the beans & tomatoes to Josie.
I see I'm getting the run around but the truth shall be revealed.
And here I thought Kenny would be left out and you would be alright. You muy lame-o.
Don't feel bad that you can't write it, a lot of Jamaicans can't read or write (understandable) patwah. Smh, shameful.
I thought Pinklion said somewhere she was a Trini. I could be wrong. Wont be the first time.
And Kenny always seemed to have more swag than me.

I have read numerous places you do not have to do a paternity test. It is only required if there is not enough evidence to establish a parent child relationship. that is what the uscis websites state. i read in the observer that you do not have to get a paternity test if you can get jp letters stating that a father child relationship exists. of course if they think there's fraud that's different. certainly can affect getting a visa. and they don't do paternity at the medical exam. i read 100 places they request it at the very end of your interview if they request it at all and your medical is done a week prior to apt. but i am waiting to hear an apt date maybe you are right maybe they will want it done at the medical. that is why i joined this website because i am so anxious. and they calling jamaica the jacket capital right now and just want the kids to go to their apt and come home with their family who loves them. feel so bad after me and my man got married his baby mama who was a cheater and why they broke up in the first place, took off and left the kids. so here we are happily ever after and had to hear about his kids who we sent his sister to go get them and send the sister child support while we wait for visa! it's messed up situation. they are hurt cuz of how their mother acted and failed to be a mother and all i want is to be their new mother and have been waiting since january and don't want a paternity test! (sigh)
Sounds like you have everyone who can provide you answers and help has done the best they could. This is not a legal forum. People can only give you advice. Maybe you should consult a lawyer so that you are prepared. O you just wait and see what happends. Good luck to you!
Maybe I am under cover Jamaican
Pichuh box sounds more like it
Seems like Kenny is better than me. I can read and understand it but cannot type it. I so lame!

thank you guys .... looks like im getting more overwhelmed now with reading the guide ... Thinking i might need a lawyer =/. I used to be married , was seperated from him for about 4 years and finally got a divorced in June .Im feeling this might be an issue =/ ohhh boy !
no need for a lawyer. we can help you. everyone will agree...it looks overwhelming but take a deep breath and just pull apart each form and read them. It not that bad. The divorce is not an issue. I'm ging to send you a PM too! Hang in there.

Didn't catch that match. Who does Mr JCricket root for again?
Was going to something but I don't think that's what you meant by that question but I'm Jamaican and I'm actually in NY...speaking of which, Hey Kenny!
What part of this thread were we on topic? Haha.
We're Chelsea fans. By marriage I became a Chelsea fan.
And leave Pinklion alone! I know I took thr "r" out of her name...but I like the sound of Pinklion.
And you're right...when has this thread ever been on topic? We are the only 4 people that post in it. Something wrong with them?? or us???

I know, I know
... My fiance wants to feel like "he has a part" in this whole process. So, he decided that he wants to fill out his forms, scan them, and email them in.
So, for the sake of arguing; WHATEVER. I guess we are actually going to sit down tomorrow and do them (him at the computer, and me on the phone telling him what to do)
LMBO!!! Cute!
Well...this is ONLY a guess....but the interview date comes about 4 weeks after you send the DS230. Weekends and US Holidays may impact the date as well.
-
No, Kingston just received packet yesterday. We were going to electronically submit DS-230 on Monday.
If Kingston got the packet...you can send the signed DS230. Why wait?

Very exciting! Congrats!!!

I agree...check the POE entry link. My husband didnt have any issues. And he was not taken into a separate room. They took his envelope and said..."you got 90 days to get married - welcome to America". His POE was Chicago.
