DandT14 got a reaction from Nich-Nick in Filing for AOS and they are asking for 3 years of taxes!! I've havent filed for years.
If you legally weren't required to file taxes, then you need to include a letter explaining that.
If you were required to file, but didn't, then you need to file now. Probably best to file before filing your AOS, in case there are any problems.

I've not made any 'relationship' advice yet on this post, I tend to wait a few days and let the thread sink in ..
    Here I go.
I infer that the OP's parents are pakistani, so to be fair complected is a big deal in Pakistan - it's a 'high beauty' trait there. That other beauty trait, to not be overweight, is another 'high beauty' trait there in Pakistan. I know, I know, different traits in different places, but to be fair - she's a 'catch' in Pakistan - Gorgeous by their standards, and an 'at the edge' Medical Doctor.
To complicate things, the OP and her husband are COUSINS, unsure if through the mother or father, but it blows me away that the fella shows no real interest in the commonplace, day to day love-y dove-y things that a couple WILL do. This isn't cultural, at all. IMO, the husband thinks this is an arranged marriage (which it sorta is) and for what ever reason, he's just not showing normal signs of infatuation with her. He (IMO) really isn't interested in marriage as a marriage - he's looking at 'it' more along the lines of getting into the USA. I think deep down HIS parents have some large 'move the family to the USA' project in the works, and it was convenient to them that a cousin popped up at the time she did (that's the OP, btw).
Many things smell, on this one. Sorry.

He's been in this country since he was 12, if I remember his previous posts correctly.
Anyway, I think he could better represent his "heritage" and "his people" by behaving like an intelligent, law-abiding human being.

No, I won't be congratulating you. Not until you say thank you to everyone who tried to help you, and offer some help to the many others who are still trying to get through this. Not until you express some sort of sympathy and understanding to the people who have had brutal interviews and are left waiting in limbo to hear a decision.
Some understanding on your part of how very lucky you are might make those "meanies" who told you they didn't think you had enough evidence say "congratulations."

So, this wasn't just a big fight that she's overreacting to? You believe the relationship is definitely over?
Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you won't need to do anything with your greencard until it's time to remove conditions. Then you'll go to the interview alone, with your evidence that it was a real marriage, and explain that you got divorced.
It's up to you whether or not you go after her for the blackmail. That's a tough one. I don't have much sympathy for her, but then I'm not the one who was married to her.

You don't need her to sign the papers right now, you go ahead and file anyway. It's important that you get her served ASAP because at that point you can claim separation of finances - so if she goes nuts running up credit cards or whatever, you don't have to be responsible for her debt.
If she refuses to participate in the disclosures and or contests the divorce, you'll end up in court. She doesn't want to go to court, trust me. I'm sure she's just playing hardball right now. Unfortunately, a contested divorce is costly. But it will be costly for both of you. Maybe once she realizes that she's not getting the $50,000 AND it's actually going to cost her money to fight you, she'll be willing to sign off on the divorce.

Why are you posting again? You want a pat on the back for succeeding? You want everyone to bow down and apologise for offering you advice on how to overcome your lack of evidence of relationship? For telling you how USCIS might look at it and how you need as much as possible? You are exceedingly ungrateful.
How about a pat on the back for US helping you? How about a "thanks for being hard on me and telling me about USCIS's ways because I was super prepared and succeeded at my interview because of it". But of course not. Of course we didn't help you, or advise you in ANY way. All we did was insult and deride you... oh wait no, that was you to our opinions and advice.
Congratulations to VJ for helping yet another person successfully pass their interview!!
