I can't believe how fast and smooth my citizenship is being processed,
My interview was on April 18th and approved, on April 29 they scheduled my Oath ceremony for May 14 (I did not receive the letter yet but the digital copy was uploaded last night)
During the interview they told me to wait for six weeks in order to get the Oath letter but I've explained  that I have an upcoming trip in exactly  six weeks (may 24th).   at the same time  I've contacted USCIS through  my USCIS inbox (Ask to an officer option) requesting to schedule at least 10 days before my trip or after my return on june 12 (In order to have time to get an expedited passport) ,  an Inmigration officer answered me telling that my case was carefully reviewed and forwarded to the Local USCIS office and they will give the answer,
An Inmigration officer from my local office sent me a separate e-mail after 72 hours of my inquiry ,  telling me that they scheduled my Oath 10 days before my trip,
I highly suggest to reach USCIS through  your profile, they will give you an answer in less than 48 hours!! they are amazing!

No she doesn't.  She's not a Canadian resident so she doesn't get provincial healthcare.  She can, however, be covered by care from your US provider or you can buy insurance for coverage in Canada.  To be eligible for provincial healthcare she would need to be a resident of that province for 90 days.  Claiming residency in another country can deem her green card to be abandoned.

As for travel, if you choose to drive, you can use the birth certificate.  Flying would require a passport however.

I agree that it would be much easier to have her family visit for the birth in the USA since she's already a resident here.

    Passport, perhaps?

I would also re-check your wife's Canadian Health Care eligibility.  Some posters say that once she moved to the US, she lost that coverage.

The insanity is not coming from people. It is coming from Trump.
It was a shock change and people were left hanging in mid air. No details had been worked out.
Clueless and compulsive in the White House, make EO's and figure out the how to's later. Absurd.
Not to mention the thousands of people that have been stuck in this process and in AP for long security checks, then have been
issues visas and quit their jobs, sold their belongings, packed their bags and bought a ticket to be with their spouses and fiances
only to be pulled from flights.
All the ones who finally had interviews and now are told forget the interview.
I would pay to see your face had it been you.
It would have been less chaotic had they put a date and freeze of visa issuing ahead of time so people can plan accordingly.
This is a typical Trump blunder, act first think later.
Take that fact and smoke it.

I know nothing about Gambia, and wanting to know, I looked it up, and was greeted with the ominous message that all government officials from The Gambia are banned from getting a US visa and there is a very high number of people trying to leave the country. In light of the political problems, my guess is this is making things even harder for the OP.
Not every country's citizens are easily granted visitor visas. My husband's country is in Europe but has no waver program and generally visitor visas are not given to unmarried men there, so there was zero chance for my hubby to come here to meet or visit me. We married in his country and I visited again, on a credit card.

Why on earth did you even ask a question when you won't listen to the answers you get? Some embassies even ask for proof of not being married at the K1 interview. This IS a big deal. Low chances of being caught does not make fraudulent and disrespectful behavior ok.

my dear you should dancing, because a wicked person like this, you should be happy that God has remove him from your life. let him be. cancel the plane ticket and also let the embassy know that this person will no longer need the visa which was issued, make sure to inform them so they cancel the visa. people like this are really not worth the time and effort. people that doesnt add value to your life, dont permit them to take away the value in your life. he will do the same to that new one also. what goes around always comes around. when you throw a ball to the wall it always come back to you. leave him in the hands of God.

I could not update mine until I went into a Nexus office (which ended up being in Port Huron) the next time I went home. I have a form that I can fax with copies to the office but I just waited until I could physically go. I just walked in and had them update my information.
If there is a Nexus Enrollment Center close by you could try there.

Yeah it is worth the money to have someone drive over if possible! As for the list, I think I labeled every box with what was in the boxes (not really specific). My list was also fairly generic, like dishes, winter clothes, summer clothes, golf clubs etc. I think I put values on things that I knew the value. I wouldn't worry too much about that though.
Some good reading in regards to moving to the US:

I would rent a Penske or U-Haul. We used Penske. My husband (fiance at the time) and Dad went over to Michigan to get the Penske, drove it back to Canada then we packed it. We found it was much cheaper to get the rental in the US and return it in the US.
I created an itemized list of all my belongings which were with us when we activated my visa.

It took me about 2 months once I got my EAD. But I am not doing exactly what I would like so I am still looking around. I have joined a professional group in my field where I live which has made me MANY contacts and I have a had a few interviews recently. So meeting people and networking is key when you are new to the area/ country. I also don't have a lot of experience it has been difficult. But depending on your field try and meet some other professionals! Hope that helps.

We travelled this weekend to visit my parents using the greencard for the first time. On the way back, it was kind of amazing. The POE officer asked us only TWO questions. Where we had been and if we were bringing anything back. He was flipping through my passport with a weird grin on his face at the K1 visa and then looked at the greencard. On the 2nd question, my husband answered that we were bringing back gifts for the baby. At this point he got a sillier look on his face, handed back our paperwork and said "welcome back guys" and we got to go through.
I was kind of in shock, and the best part was the 'welcome back guys' - I said to my husband, HEY that means ME too! I have crossed over to the 'other side'! What a nice change

Lesson learned from this thread, do not try to be positive. Because someone with a worse timeline than you will inevitably tell you that your waiting meant nothing, theirs was longer so theirs means more, and you don't know what you're talking about because YOU didn't wait as long as THEY did.
Let people be miserable if they want to be miserable.
Let them check USCIS five times a day if they want to.
Let them draft letters and petitions if that makes them feel better, though chances are, they won't go anywhere.
Let people do whatever they need to do to get through their waiting period.
We all know the waiting sucks, but here on VJ, it's turned into a competition. So let the miserable ones "win" the title of Most Rightfully Irritated With USCIS and move on with your life and YOUR relationship.
They don't want advice. They don't want positive words of encouragement. They want to do exactly what they're already doing.
It was nice of you to try, though.
