JC&Evelin reacted to Saylin in AOS barcode can't be printed until fee shows as 'paid', right?
That used to be correct. But quite a few months ago, the bar-coded cover sheet became payable as soon as you finished paying the fee and it showed 'In Progress'. This applies for the IV fee as well. So, if you've paid the bill, log into the payment portal, go to the respective bill, and click on 'Print Document Cover Sheet'. That's what you need
No need to wait anymore. See above.

Please go to the NVC filers thread read Post #1 and Post #2. You email the DS-3032 in the body no scan or attachments. There's a template you ca follow. Post questions on that thread its an excellent resource. But do read.

Your wife is not any type of green card holder. She is a K-1 visa entry married to a US citizen with an adjustment of status pending. She becomes a green card holder when her adjust is approved. Before she gets her green card, she is merely an applicant and not a green card holder.

It's usually called a conditional greencard- ie the one you get if you are married less than two years, the one you need to ROC (Remove Conditions) of 2 years after getting it.

    Yep.
Yes you are fine, you have way more than the 5 years of physical presence.
This forum is about CR-1 spousal visas though- if you want to discuss CRBA more, we have a specific forum for it here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/154-consular-reports-of-birth-abroad-crba/

I am a USC and gave birth abroad. I did a consular report of birth and my son has US citizenship, US passort, and a social security number. I lived most of my life in the US, but have been abroad since 2006. Here is a link with info: http://travel.state.gov/law/family_issues/birth/birth_593.html
It was easy to do. I did it when he was 2 months old, and it only took 1 day. We made an appointment at the US embassy and brought the necessary proof and forms, and that was it. I think it was that you have to have lived in the US for at least 5 years after age 18. I brought my college transcripts to prove that, and then just my proof of citizenship (US birth certificate).
    Congrats on your baby!
    :-) Jules

I came to the US in 1998 and I was 14. The first time I went out of the country was in 2007! I became US Citizen in 2006! I should not have a problem to pass citizenship to my daughter right?

If a us citizen gives birth to a child outside of the us then the child is entitled to us citizenship. Just have to file the right paperwork.

not sure about it man but I always wanted to marry a 16yr old girl sadly it never happened
Is her age an issue in syria for marriage? I am thinking its not. Then you should get married and file I130 petition. That is high fraud place and 16 yr old girl who is distant relative doesnt stand a great chance getting fiance visa anyways.

The instructions section 21D on page 7 specifically state that you list ALL of YOUR unmarried children under 21 even if you do not have legal custody.
This is "material" information used in determination of benefit eligibility. Omit this and risk the whole file up to and including citizenship

If you will be using only your income, no assets to meet the poverty guidelines and there is only one person you are petitioning for then yes you can use this form.

yes you can ask, however since you give over your wife email address and your own they will notify you there as well when they accept it and invoice the IV bill. So wait for the email but if you are bored and just want to pass time keep calling and asking. yea ask them if the choice of agent has been accepted yet?

AOS bill and designated agent is two seperate issue...when NVC accepts ur choice of Agent then they will generate IV bill and sent to the designated agent...You go ahead and pay the AOS bill becoz petitioner has to pay the AOS anyway...if u sent Choice of Agent by email then they will accept in 10 working days...if my mail then then as soon as they receive it they will accept--->enter in their system--->generate the IV bill--->send u via email

You have to file CRBA for your child: http://sansalvador.usembassy.gov/birth_abroad.html
There's no need to include the child in your wife's petition since the child will be recognized as a US citizen.
You should also get the child a US passport once CRBA has been completed.

Since you are a citizen your kids become citizens too. You have to go to the Embassy in San Salvador and fill out some papers. It is pretty simple. You just have to remember all the entries you did to El Salvador since you came here for the first time

You gotta do CRB for your little one. Of course having in mind that she is your biological daughter. You will file Report Birth abroad for your daugtehr in the US embassy in the country where she was born. Both you and your wife will probably need to be present (with your passports), your daughters birth certificate (translated if not in English) and also you need to prove 5 years of your presence in the US ( tax returns, high school transcripts etc.) of which 2 years need to be after youre 14 years old. Also, here and I think there to the amount that you need to pay is 205$.
