    Hello
We had a meeting at the court house few days ago, me, husband and our lawyers (I had a chance to get a lawyer! yey). So we came to an agreement that we going to have 50/50 custody. I didn't want to agree but my lawyer said court wants us to share and that the case is very complicated and unpredictable so nobody knows what will happen at the hearing date on November 30th. She said the judge might take time from me and give it to husband so I really got scared that I might lose my baby.. However I'm not happy with what happened but I guess I had to listed to her because she is my lawyer and if not trust her then who to trust? That was my thought because I was really confused... Dad already said he can't have him the days when he will supposed to because he is busy so (thank God) I will just take him.
So this lawyer is only for custody and I still need one for child support, spousal support.
My immigration is going fine, I got prima facie and was hoping that I can get welfare money for myself (because they only pay me for the child), but the turned me down (( I will have to go again. My case manager told me they do it to people because they don't want to pay but I just have to show them what law says and they will most likely pay ))
Oh and most exciting news, we finally moved to transitional housing so we are not in a shelter anymore! I pay 30% of my income and the apartment is nice, it's 2 story apartment, and it's ours for next 18 months!
Also I'm enrolling my son to another school where he can be all day, they have nurses there so his medical needs will be met too.
We are very happy right now, the new custody order will start working October 1 so we have time for each other before I let him go to dad.. I just live my life right now and love my son. I wanna keep the moment.

A couple of quick thoughts..............if you are knocking someone's grammar without really contributing to the thread, you are a troll. If you have doubts in your mate you are normal, as long as they are reasonable doubts.
From my experience and getting scammed once already, a few things are red flags for me:
Multiple email accounts and/or social media accounts
    Multiple SIM cards
Missing chat times without leaving a message to let me know you can't be there.
Abnormal amounts of excuses including brown outs or internet outage
Blowing through money without being able to account for how it has been spent.
Disappearing for a day after you get a money transfer
BODY LANGUAGE in vid chat or in person
Not referring to people by name...."uncle" or "classmate" is NOT a name.
Not wanting me to meet your friends
Being online at an odd time and refusing to open cam.
Getting/replying to SMS then immediately deleting it
Trying to call but your excuse is the phone is "low batt" often
Trying to call and get "out of area" or no answer
Those are a few of my personal red flags, a few of which can legitimately happen, but I pay attention.

Our daughter was born in June, and because of concern about attracting the evil eye, I was just given permission to let the information out. She is awesome, we are thrilled (but tired). In-laws are all ecstatic! This is why getting MIL here was such a big deal for us

since recently joining the friendly site of VJ (4 weeks ago)u have publicly searched by asking "legitimate questions" to obtain a visa to immigrate to the U.S. and this is why it seems like you might not have a Bona Fide Relationship with your SO. I post nothing negative and intend nothing with accusation
These are all your words from your posts in snippets.....

I want to move to the US but realise that it is not a matter of "get up and go".
I understand that the couple of ways to get a visa is either to get married to someone in the US and move there (obviously a proper devoted marriage) or to work for a US company who will sponser you and move you over.
however for me, both options are not possible.
I have no criminal record of any kind and are self employed in IT. I also have a US B1/B2 Visa (a business and visitor visa).
I am wanting to change my life and move away from where I am and would rather move to the US.
What things are possible for me to do this? Any suggestions or advice are welcome!

    Hi.
if one wants to give up their UK citizenship (they were born and bred in the UK), then is it possible to gain for a US citizenship or would the same principals apply where you can only get a visa if a company employs you or you get married etc... ?
    Posted 04 July 2012 ~
I currently live in the UK. I am wanting to move to the US for many reasons. The main being my line of work (in IT)I am wondering, is it possible for me to get a visa and migrate over taking my business with me? if so - what is the process? Anyone know where I stand on this? Like I said, I want to move myself and my company over to the US and continue doing what I do with the business but in US.
And when that post did not get the answers....
    Posted 13 July 2012 ~
    So,
for a K1 - how does it work? I mean from what I understand the person in the US would file for this. So what do they file? What sort of details are on the form they need to fill in?
what if the DOB is entered differently than the actual DOB? just the years having a mistake?
does age difference matter? she is older than me - around 10 years.
lets just say that she thinks im 2 years older than my DOB. but i think we all do that when you are dating.... ( you bad boy )
    Four days ago...
well we arent engaged or anything yet. and it is still new, the relationship. but like i said... i have my reasons. she has her reasons for doing the same too!
    Today ~
So I have a US girlfriend. we plan to marry at some point. Obviously means I would move over/immigrate to the US.
The bonus is, I dont need to apply for a K1 visa. I can get married on my curent B1/B2 visa then the girlfriend can file for the immigration thing/sponser. I can still continue to travel back and fourth which is ideal for me.
You seemed to have it all figured out now
    BTW
    IF this was for me....
    what? give me a break.
I dont get why I cannot ask legitimate questions here. after all this is an open forum and it is meant to be a helpful community, not this kind of negitive and false accusation community.
You were helped in all your previous posts.
no wonder the world is in a state today because of such people.
Me being a member of VJ and pointing out that your story comes off questionable does not rock the state of the world.
I wonder why i bother anymore. I have nothing to hide so really, it is not my fault if you have issues. go sort them out
Thanks for the advice....No real hard issue on my side of the big pond
I do wish you both good luck with your future

I will never understand why some people don;t follow the rules of the k1 and get married within the 90 days like they are supposed to. Then they come here asking what they should do and make excuses for why they didn't. People if you file a k1 do yourself a favor and follow the rules

I'm not saying that I think it's ok she worked illegally. I'm actually very much against that particular crime. But, had she come here before she filed and said "I've worked illegally, what do I do?" Everyone here would have said "whatever you do, don't lie about it." And that's what she did, she filled out her paperwork honestly. Now that's she's approved and excited about it, people seem to be saying "we wish telling the truth would have got you deported". And, "we hope it gets you deported in the future." Does that make sense?
She's young, she might have a disagreeable personality, but I don't see why everyone's so angry at her.
