I completely agree! Those levels are low. As far as the planned pregnancy.....I do agree...although I had my first child young and unmarried. But now, with this 2nd marriage, we took precautions so I would not be pregnant! And we agreed not to even attempt a child until he has a job, and we are definitely stable.

What's the best way to get the beneficiary's money from home country to USA? Anyone find a good way to exchange Euros for US Dollars without paying large fees? We'd prefer an electronic transfer of some sort if possible. We have no experience with this sort of thing and any advice would be greatly appreciated!

We have done Western Union. Depending on how much, it costs about $15 to send money, and they convert it before paying you. So if money is coming to USA, it will be paid to you in US Dollars.

I am in New Jersey. Sent to Chicago Lockbox. My papers went to California Service Center. Have no clue why. I would not try to guess where yours will go. Just wait and see.

However be careful what you wish for. Last year when we were petitioning I-129f, Vermont was 2 months behind California (I was a Vermonter!). Who knows which will be faster by the time your petition is processed.

Don't worry. At least they have looked at your case, and it is now moving. I'm sure its something simple. When you get it, send the papers back asap, and you will be fine....no worries my friend

and i am kinda new here, can anyone tell me what is the meaning of TOUCHED as i see it alot in timelines.

Hi! You should have your hardcopy within a matter of days. Tops should be a week. And touched really means nothing. All it means is that someone handled your paperwork. My last touch was (i'm guessing) when CSC received my papers. So a touch could mean they are working on it, or it could simply mean they are shuffling your papers around.

Today was the 22nd of Decemeber, and was really really down seeing a whole lot of aug filers being approved, and noticed on of the posts submitted by a user, that they got their NOA2 in mail, without and e notification or text! So then, I thought of calling USCIS , and spoke to an operator and she basically read the whole script of a "case being under proccess" which is the same thing you read when you check your status online..

So, as I ended my day , hoping it may get approved tomorrow or day after tmrw, raising my hopes and to get this thing off from my head , I got busy shopping for new yrs buying gifts for whole family... And as soon as I entered my building, I opened the mailbox.. And there I saw an envelope from USCIS !!!

AND GOT MY APPROVAL!!!!! Thanks Allah!!!

So the summary to all my VSC filers,,, keep checking your mailbox and be patient!! the whole notification system is unreliable!!!

My wife went to her doctor today he was gonna hospitalized her. The baby is ok in her belly but she is really weak, she can not put anything in her mouth. She got one week to stay home and the doctor gives a letter informing that about her situation and that she needs my help. We are going to send this letter tomorrow to california service center as documentation that we had been requested to submit for the expedite that we requested. I hope they approve it.

4 month is too long for me, my wife is suffering i got to come to help her. She can not even go to work and she has bills to pay

Hopefully it will get you the expedite! However, I am sorry that she is having such a hard time. I pray that everything goes well, and the baby and your wife are healthy...

Hey people, No touch for me

Me either

Immigration driving me crazy, now it's my wife giving me problem. She does not want to stay on the phone with me for even 3 minutes. i got her nervous when she hears me talking. Sometimes she chooses not to pick up. This morning i had a chance i called her and she was being nice and saying she is sorry. I tried 2 hours later, she does not pick up and don t reply my text...lol. I am no longer gonna get her pregnan because more than ever i want to feel her closer to me so that we can have this journey goes fast

I am sorry that you are going through this. I can tell you, that hormones are all wacky during pregnancy. I never heard of a woman being quite like that, but please don't take it personally. I'm sure she still loves you, and remember.....she is stressed too. She is without you, and taking care of a baby growing inside her. So, she does need your sympathy. Just be patient, and it will all be better soon......trust me.

Yeah but i can not stop reading information in here. i am here from 8ham to 8hpm everyday from monday to friday when i am at work. I check USCIS account from time to time. Sometimes while i am checking the account, i close my eyes and open it on the " Last update" field hoping it will be changed ( touch), funny me llol. I do not know what else to do. I am waiting for my wife second appointment with her doctor so that they can diagnostic and see it my wife has anything wrong so that i can have them make a letter and send to California service center to have my case expedited for medical reason

ha ha ha!!! Oh you are funny! I check it daily too, only to be disappointed. And I hope there is nothing wrong with your wife. I know you miss her, but health is more important. We will survive being apart from our loved ones. And soon enough, you will be reunited.

Processing time - I honestly don't know. I think so. But, so much of this still confuses me. I am just taking notes, and waiting (impatiently). Reading lists, and watching timelines, does not make our cases go any faster. So I just stopped reading them. SSSHHHHH! lol

Touched is basically nothing. It just means that your paperwork was in someones hands. Anytime it is handled, they scan in your barcode and voila...touched!

I hope i don t get a RFE, this would delay my case.

It looks like we just have to wait and see. Just because we have no new news, does not mean you will get an RFE. Have Faith!
