  1. bro i'm the beneficiary myself my fiancee is currently not working i had my sis in law as a co-sponser

so now what she needs to send me i have her bank statement only all documents and tax papers were sent to uscis

when she apply for me from USA i have all the copies of everything which she sent to USCIS tell me what to do

    Okay..

got it. The co-sponsor is your sis in law from the USA . Right? She should send you all the documents (same submitted for i-129F), to you for the embassy interview. Since your USC fiancee is not working, the US Embassy in PK needs to establish the fact you won't become a burden to the government once you are here.

So, either your sponsor or co-sponsor must provide legit financial documents for your K1 visa to be approved. As the beneficiary, you should have a copy of the i-129f in your possession, and the i-134 evidence of support forms from your fiancee explaining the fact there is a co sponsor and documents provided, should be good to go.

    Good luck

  2. Moshin,

Email or mail the following to your beneficary:

    1. Letter of Employment from your workplace - name, your position, start date, salary

    2. Two years of IRS Tax transcripts

    3. Bank Reference Letters

    4. Any additional earnings i.e. IRA, MMA, or mutual funds.

More info you give, the less hassle it is for the embassy reviewing the case.

Bye the way, all the information above should be have provided via the i-134 form which is a required form by the embassy.

  3. personally, if my significant other was in Jamaica, which is few hours from east coast of USA, I would be visiting her once a month and on every holiday, and of course be there for the visa interview. Call me crazy but I would. Going to Kingston or any part of Jamaica is relatively very very cheap for americans.

  4. My fiance has his K1 interview scheduled for December 1st, at the consulate in Amsterdam. I am getting ready to send all of the documents that I have to him for the interview. Because they are secure documents I will send them through certified mail. I was hoping that you all could help me to make sure I didn't forget anything important to send to him.

    I have included:

    • I-29F with original signatures
    • G-325A with original signatures for both the petitioner and benificiary
    • Petitioner's original birth certificate (is this necessary?)
    • Original NOA1 and NOA2
    • My apartment lease stating my current address and the location where my fiance will live when he comes to the U.S.
    • Two signed affidavits stating my intention to marry my fiance within 90 days of his arrival to the U.S.
    • Paystubs for the last 5 months
    • Letter of Employment from my employer (dated September 22, 2011)
    • I-134 (signed and dated September 22, 2011)

Should I also include bank statements? Do they need a copy of my passport? He will provide all of the evidence showing that we are in an ongoing relationship. Did I miss anything? Thank you in advance for all of your help! This interview is so important; we don't want to mess anything up!

As part of the i-134 form, you will need to have at least two years of IRS tax transcripts or w2 showing earnings You also should have a bank reference letter indicating your name, when account was opened and balance. They don't need a copy of your passport. That proof should have been provided as part of the original i-129f form (COPY OF THE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING certificate of naturalization or birth certificate or passport pages).

Letter of Intent should be updated with new date from you. The text of the letter can be same as the one you submitted for i-129f but the new date is important and shows your intent to marry if the embassy needs to see it.

From my understanding the NOA 2 and NOA1 can be copies, don't sent originals. Just my 2 cents.

DONT SEND YOUR BIRTH CERTIFICATE (ORIGINAL). ALWAYS KEEP THAT WITH YOU.

Also use DHL international to send documents to your fiance. The best in the business.. Expensive but don't take any chances w/ lost mail,etc..

    All the best.

  5. To all Visa Journey members,

We heard the magic words "Visa approved" on October 12. :dancing::dance::dance::dancing: Now, with great anticipation, awaiting the printing and delivery of visa.

This post is firstly and foremost, a huge thank you to each and all the Visa Journey members who have provided us much helpful information as well as moral support all along the way of this roller-coaster ride of an experience. (Shudder to think how the experience would have been without VJ help and support. ) Secondly, we hope our good news will serve as encouragement to those still at earlier stages in the process. Yes, the waiting feels relatively long, sometimes even agonizingly so, but the feeling when the goal is achieved is indescribably wonderful and makes all the waiting worthwhile. Last but not least, our sincere wish and prayer is that each and everyone of you sincerely and steadfastly working towards your own goals will as soon as possible be able to experience similar feelings of joy and elation.

Again, many thank yous all and to you all the best of luck in each and every one of your own personal visa journeys!!!

    --RK and Inday

P.S. For those interested in the actual interview experience itself, please see the review we have submitted for the Manila embassy along with the reviews of others. In short, we were over-prepared (at interview only asked were a few relationship questions, a few photos of us together requested, required documents submitted), and we would still deliberately do the same. We saw others denied for not even meeting the most basic of specified documentary requirements. Please be sure to use Visa Journey and other resources in order to be well prepared. –RK n' Inday

    CONGRATS!!

  6. I think some countries are prone to more scrutiny simply because there is a large online dating (match making) industry where US government fears fraudulent marriages may take place, so they are extra careful. I am not saying it right or wrong, but, maybe the reason we see delays in petition approvals..

Just remember there are hundreds upon hundreds on this forum who are legit and going about the right way to bring loved ones, but thousands of others who try to come illegally, which pose a greater problem to this country in the long run. So for that reason alone, USCIS has to be diligent and through. Unfortunately in this process , some have to wait and be patient. I guess that's a small price pay to come to this country.

  7. Interesting debate. The most qualified and seasoned Republican is Newt, but, he doesn' t have the glamor or money to survive the race. Cain is a one trick pony whose 999 plan got exposed for its flaws. Perry looked mean and inarticulate once again.

Ron is a true independent but his comment about shutting foreign aid including aid to Israel will be his downfall. No politician should utter these words. Truth people..

Romney has the money, swing vote and leading among middle of the road conservatives.. I think he's the republican which will come out ahead.

  8. You know, in the interest of civility, I've been biting my tongue for months now, but I can't any longer. Most people here are great. But, you and several other high-volume posters on here have this tendency to be especially nasty to other members here. People here are already stressed enough, and you aren't making things any better. You need to rethink your attitude here, or stop posting; either works for me.

To answer your snarky response anyway, the instructions clearly said I could send COPIES of all documents. So, I did. I followed the instructions! And, their response did not indicate what was wrong - if they wanted a certified copy, the RFE should have said so, other than just say they need a divorce certificate, which I had already sent a copy of. That IS moronic! If someone looking at this sees a divorce certificate but has a problem with it being a copy, then a reasonable person would put in the RFE that they need the certified copy, rather than just say they need the same thing again. Obviously, I can't respond to the RFE by sending nothing back, even though they were unclear. So, I sent every document the court has, and all certified; if this does not satisfy their unclear request, then nothing will, since there are no more court documents that can be obtained.

Hang in there, hopefully it will be expedited soon. Each RFE is closely looked at.

Best you can do, is call and speak to a 'live' person at USCIS and calmly discuss your individual case and

see if there's anything else they need. Outside of that, just be patient.

    All the best

  9. I would love to know how you make out trying that, I only get a dial tone after calling, it doesn't even try to connect, just goes straight back to a dial tone.

magic jack should let you call a US number without a problem.

The issue may be getting a busy signal, because, they are pretty busy w/ calls. keep trying, you will eventually get through.

  10. My advice.

Look at all the requirements for K1 vs. K3. Do you meet them? Are you financially stable to sponsor her? If so, that's good. Secondly, talk to other who have sponsored a finance or wife from Iran, on this forum. There is a ton of good info here. Right now, the relations b/t the two countries are not good, and getting first hand knowledge from a USC who has sponsored a finance from Iran is very important.

Don't believe the lawyers when they say 3-4 months for k1? The typical process from K1 (provided no RFEs, no hassles, no hangups) is 6 months. The wait is longer for k3 visa. But that is an average, and as you have heard, some cases are over 1 yr and still pending. Alot of factors are involved.

    Good luck..

  11. To the Glory of the Almighty God, It is a real blessing to report to everyone that our interview was a success. SPECIAL THANKS to the VJ'ers as well because the process wouldn't have been this easy for us if not for your questions, responses, reviews, prayers and advice. A full review will be provided once I return back to the U.S. Once again Thanks and May God bless you all abundantly

    Congrats!!!

  12. Correct me if I am wrong, I think the text notification only applies to the NOA1 when submitting that form.

If you want to receive text and email for case updates, you have to create an account on the USCIS with your case number and click yes for email and yes for text notifications.

    I am not positive though

I received a txt message at 2:30AM when i got NOA 2 approved. Woke me up but boy was I was happy :)

  13. I'm self employed. Do I sent in one Copy of the income tax return filed for last year only or for the last three years?

Finally sent out the I-129F Petition to USICS. Thanks for all your help!

Even though the form instructions say last year's tax return, I would be conservative, and give them 2 yrs of income ( get the IRS tax transcripts free online), and attach any earning statements i.e. W2 w/

which shows a pattern of earning especially if self employed.
