im thinking about trying to give a call to the embassy...does anyone know the number? One of my cousins who went through this AP process last year told me the embassy is more up to date about the visa issuance than DOS is...I think i'll try calling the embassy and if i don't get a response I'll send an email..If you guys have any other suggestions do let me know!
I think you will find Islamabad Embassy not responsive when you call or email them. Once any update is made by the embassy, the data is accessible by DOS, so it's best to contact DOS, as they know immediately when petitions are approved, RFE or any decision by Islamabad. For my own experience, I called DOS practically each day, and DOS informed me her K1 was approved first. Then, my fiancee in Pakistan found out, via email.
Good luck

The bank account combined is looked at secondary. The primary concern is the annual income of the petitioner and that person meeting the income level to support the beneficiary.

Buddy,
If you are a guy in Pakistan, and she's in USA, i say to you 'Good luck' and chances of your getting a K1 visa are slim to none. Please read the Islamabad threads and check out how difficult it is for couples who have met, with full supporting evidence. Without meeting the girl / guy, it's a lost cause bro..

Hi Winnings23,,Thanx very much for ur input,, My name is Poonwattie I am the petitioner, I live in NY, my fiance is Mohsin and he lives in Pakistan, as soon as Mohsin received the email from the embassy he called me, and right away I started working on everything i contacted the Senator and the congressman, I already fill out the form and fax it back to the senator office, they also needed my signature, giving them permission to contact the embassy, I am going in the congressman office on Tuesday morning at 9 am sharp to sign a consent form for them too, and yes I am prepared to give whatever info they need, we have nothing to hide from them, the problem is that our case wasn't denied they used the word revocation, now Tuesday morning I will contact nvc and get a better idea as to wht revocation is,,,And then from there we will know how to proceed, and also we need to know the reason for the revocation, this answer I think the senator or the congressman can get, however our aim for now is to see if we can keep them from sending our case back to the US and a possible second interview, i email them and ask them to give us a chance to clear their doubt which they have, so i am not giving up just yet,, but we also have a plan B, if they will make us wait too long i will withdraw the K1 and go to Pakistan and get married and file CR1, I am hoping that someone on Vj have done something like this in the past, and could shed some light on how this will work,,,,so thanx to everyone for ur support, its very much appriciated and to Carolyn thanx for ur kind words,, as for Eabbas, I dont have enough words to thank you for ur support, u stayed on the phone with me, and even cried with me, your words meant soo much to me,,,and to everyone else plz don't hesitate to share ur advise, I will b grateful.
Praying you for u guys..
Inshallah, your congressman can speed up your petition and get an approval.

basically the embassy is sending it back from them and they want uscis to also look at it and revoke it meaning if its revoked you wont get a visa on this petition. But its always possible for uscis to look at it and decide that it is an approvable petition and send it back to the embassy..however because its a k1 fiance petition they usually sit on it letting it expire but tell her to keep doing whawt shes doing and try to keep the petition there in case they havent sent it back yet. just keep the faith
the biggest thing is you must find out WHY they sent it back for revocation so that you can overcome this obstacle in the future with another k1 or cr1 visa...if you dont fix the reason why then they will deny it again and send it back.
I think Ebbas is right, even the US Congressman will want to know the reason why the petition has been denied. Before the congressman takes up the fight for you, they will need to know all the details including anything about the petitioner. Provide where the petitioner was born, travel history dating back since he was a teenager, work history, letter of support from Pakistan (his employer, professional acquaintances, NOT family), and exact nature of how you meet the first time, where, when, how. This may be pretty personal info, but for the sake of getting buy-in from the congressman and making your case stronger, you will need to prove without a shadow of doubt, the relationship is 100% legit. For some reason USCIS seems to think otherwise, so, the burden of proof lies with you.
I wish you guys the best.

Well, that's unfortunate to hear. Sorry to have to go thru this ordeal. I would recommend u go to Pakistan and get married to your fiance.
Refile, and sponsor as your spouse, provide supporting documentation. 99% of it you already have.
Option#2: Get the best immigration attorney you can find and let him/her fight your case.
Option #3: Instead of living in the USA, why not move to PK and be with your significant other. Possible?
If there's one thing i learned from this immigration process of bringing over a loved one, its you have be to mentally tough and
ready to make some serious compromises. Nothing is perfect, and this process will definitely test your patience..

I got a letter today from the Bureau of Consular Affairs at the Department of State. It's a long letter and says that they are sensitive to the fact that the purpose of the immigrant visa program is to re-unite families. Nonetheless, The U.S. Embassy Islamabad, like all U.S. embassies and consulates, must adjudicate visas in accordance with the provisions of the law, and, in some cases, this involves extensive administrative processing. They assure me that the Embassy and the Department of State are aware of my concerns and will do all they can to see that the visa is adjudicated as soon as the processing on my husbands case has been completed.
I just wanted to share this letter with you guys who might want to write to the State Department about your case.
That's somewhat comforting to hear, that Dept. of State reacted to you. I hope your husband gets approved soon.
It's unfortunate that most Pakistani guys have to go thru. the AP process, but, that's the way it is, given Pakistan's political situation, level of anti-American feelings from that region of the world so the US government needs to their due diligence.
Hang in there.. I don't think yours is an isolated case. I personally know three guys put on AP for K1 visa.. it's been over 10 months for each of month.
-
Awesome.. congrats!! glad to see some movement w/ the visas being issued..
-
Praying all u guys get approval very soon..

Hi!
I was just wondering would you happen to know how to download MSN messenger chat histories? I have cut and pasted them but there is nothing really that proves it was an online chat. it has dates times and screen names but doesn't show if it is generated from messenger. need help with this in case the evidence I sent wasn't enough. I sent passport with stamps over 3 visits since January 2010, pics, boarding passes over the last 2 years, phone bills for the last year with calls and text messages. I am hoping this is enough...but for the interview I would like to have msn messages that go over the last 2 1/2 yrs.
Thanks
Open your "My Documents" folder, you can see a "My Chat Logs" folder. That's where MSN stores your chat history.
you have to enable the option 'save history'
tools
options
messages
--» then it will be stored here
C:/
my documents
my received files
folder with your account's name
history
--» when running PLUS
open MSN
PLUS
preferences
conversations
enable the option 'save history'
apply/ok
--» it will be saved here
C:/
my documents
my chat logs

Nice... congrats!!

He's most likely under Admin Processing or commonly called 'AP'. If he didn't get a request for more evidence, then, the embassy will research the case and let you know if he's approved or not. Since he's a guy and Pakistani, I would recommend you search the forums and check out other Pakistanis who have gone through this (search on ' Islamabad AP Tracker') .
Majority of Pakistani men are being put on AP for further investigation. Not sure how long you will have to wait, though.

Medical insurance under the petitionier's health care plan would be ideal
Bank verification letter stating both of us have a joint bank account.
retirement account beneficiary showing your wife .
Tax filing as married (1040) as joint same address.
Folks they are many ways to prove validity of relationship.. make sure you have more than enough documentation at your interview.
-
Type a letter with my company letter head or professional template.
In the letter just state the requested information and get it signed by one of your supervisors. Most are too lazy to do, and you can do the leg work and simply do it for them, and then attached the spreadsheet as reference data as part of the application.
1. Provide at least one month paystubs
2. Tax transcripts
along w/ this letter from employer, you should be fine
-
The more chats, the better it is. IMHO, the more evidence you provide for the K1 interview, the CO will be impressed, and little left to question the validity of the relationship. My fiancee provided over 50 pages bounded in a binder (SKYPE, call logs, Gmail Chat). Provided for a good experience at the embassy.

Read the directions on form i-129F, very clearly states, any change of address must be provided to USCIS via email or phone. The address is listed on the directions. I would say by phone may be faster.
-
If all goes smoothly w/ the interview, and there is no 'AP', the embassy will produce the K1 visa, affix it to the passport and mail it back to her. I would say 10-12 days max.
-
I had the same problem. My fiancee abroad never got a Hard Copy of the interview letter. However, I , the US petitioner received her interview letter . I forwarded it to my fiancee and she printed it out.
No worries, the embassy accepts it.

Im trying to file for a fiancé visa i have downloaded the I-129F now I need information on where I send the application to. Can i send it electronically?
On the form directions, it's clearly stated. One address for regular mail another for expedited service.
http://www.uscis.gov...i-129finstr.pdf
it's a complicated form with specific instructions, i highly suggest u read each instructions per each question before submitting the form. good luck

I sent my engagement photos with our families there with professional pics when my fiancee interviewed last month. I was wearing suit and she had nice formal outfit in nice venue. No issues w/ the CO. She got approved.
HELP PLEASE ASAP!!!!
in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures

Quite frankly, this is quite odd ... The girl is dealt this tragic loss of her significant other, and in time of mourning, she all of a sudden finds a 'new' fiance, and ready to jump into a new relationship. Call me crazy, but, there's no way USCIS would should allow her to remain here.. She needs to go back and re-start the process and validate the new relationship is legitimate w/ proper documentation,etc..
