We met over 20 years ago when kids but we didn't see each other again until June 2011 when life and God brought us together. We fell hard for each other and after just 2 months of a long distance relationship, we knew we wanted to be together so we decided to pursuit the k1 visa route in September 2011. On december 2011 I went to visit my family in Spain for the holidays and my fiance joined us. On December 24th, 2011 he surprised me with an engagement party. On January 2012 I came back to Venezuela and he returned to the States. On January 19th, 2012 our case got approved and we received our NOA2. The following weeks were crazy to say the least. On April 3rd, 2012 my fiance and I got my k1 visa approved and I moved to the United States 3 weeks later on April 20th, 2012. We got married on May 17th 2012. It was a 7 months process from the day we applied to the day I moved. On july 2012 I applied for my Adjustment of Status. 2012 was absolutely one of the BEST years of my life. Fast forward april 20th, 2013 I received my greencard on the 1st anniversary of me moving to the States. Shortly after I got my permanent driver's license and SSN. On may 23rd 2013 we found we were pregnant!! with due date on January 27th, 2014. My husband and I welcomed our baby boy on January 18th 2014 at 5.56 am surrounded by our family. On March 2015, I applied for our Removal of conditions and in April 2015 I started my 1st job in the US as Corporate Recruiter. In September 2015, I started my Master's degree in the University of Phoenix. On october 2015 I received my 10 years green card. On February 2016, the 90 days window for my citizenship opened. In March 2016, my husband and I decided it was time for us to find a bigger and better place to raise our family so we decided to sell our apartament and get into a house. After less than a month, guided by God's hand, we found the house of our dreams in a very exclusive community. After JUST 3 months EXACT, I passed with flying colors my citizenship test and my 2 hours interview and on May 27th, 2016 I oficially became in an US citizen in the company of my husband and parents. On July 2016, we officially received the keys of our new house and moved the same day. Fast forward 2017, On January I received my diploma from Phoenix University as Master in Science in Human Resources and accepted a new professional challenge (and BETTER pay jijiji) as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for one of the most prestigious companies nationwide. 2018 begins with new challenges and new opportunities for our growing family, this year we celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary and many other happy moments as we have very exciting plans and projects for this upcoming year. I cannot thank God enough for all this wonderful adventure, for all the opportunities, the challenges, the love, the friendship that follows us in every step we take. Is still very hard to believe that our beautiful love story started 7 years ago and how far we have come as marriage, as a family and as a team. So so greatful for this beautiful life He has given us. If you made it this far into my story THANK YOU! if you are just starting I wish you nothing but the best
