The Interview Threads were started around the time my group was waiting on interviews. At that time (around September) the NVC seemed to be on an indefinite HOLD and there were a lot of people waiting. I put up the first spread sheet...and a fire seemed to break out. Once the interviews started being issued, the forum exploded and it was so exciting seeing so many getting their dates at one time, that we have just continued to do it. But if you'll notice.....when the questions come up about NVC, I refer them back to Saylin's instruction page....I, keep up with you after the case complete! (Well, that is unless I'm out for my own interview. ) Point is...none of us could have got through NVC without her thread!

Yay the other ES filer whose case closed late August got his date!! That means we will have a January date, barring any other unforeseen bullshit out of NVC or San Sal.

Not to be mean, I know we all want to be done as fast as possible, but when people who filed their i-130 in August talk about expediting interviews, it just makes me cringe. Your case is already going much faster than most other people's.

Thanks, D. I talked myself out of the hospital last night because if I don't work I don't get paid and I can't afford to take a 3-4 day "vacation." But I do have an emergency therapy appointment this afternoon.

She told me they arnt done scheduling yet. So hopefully I'll get a Nov. Date. She said to call back next week.

I was in a funk all week thinking I wouldn't see my husband until January, then got the email for a date a lot sooner than I was expecting. I'm really hoping that everyone who has been waiting get some good news in the next few days.

Contact a lawyer and protect yourself. This could cause a lot of problems for you because she's under your sponsorship.

OP, you're in the begining stages of stalking. You need to stop before you allow yourself to get goaded into stupid stuff.
Get a divorce, notify USCIS and proceed to move on with your life. Gowon has learned in his time (I'm old enough to almost be your Dad) that you can't keep someone that doesn't want to be with you. You have no properties or kids together so it's as clean as a break that you can get adn she moved out on her own without you having to get all messy like.
You're not going to get her deported and it's not your job, you're going to notify the USCIS and you're going to move on. I read your bio page and saw how you met and your activities you did when you first met, those, IMHO, were all wrong.

Step #1 = Lawyer
Step #2 = get divorce ASAP and don't give her anything.
Step #3 = Put it behind you and move on to the next adventure.

That's the million dollar question right there.

Most people would probably not agree with me, but I'll keep it because you might get a December interview. NVC would then send your file to the US Embassy in El Salvador prior to your December interview date. You can call the embassy prior the date that you scheduled yourself and call them if they have received your file from NVC. If they have and you have an interview date from NVC that is later than the one that you had scheduled, ask the US Embassy to find out if you can keep the one that you had scheduled.

Ullnvrkno we have become the New Mr. Borkstrom. I amd sure I will still be here until end of year. I am growing impatient and frustarted waiting on mail that may or may not come. Wondering when to say to husband "ya got to redo all the documents again and send" Why we all can't be electronic processing is beyond me.
I mean I look at 31 days days loat after NOA2 by CSC. Finally case gets to NVC than forever fror a case# (17 days). Than this IV BILL document waiting. Husband goes to post office sends we should get in 12 days. Thats 9/24. Nothing so he goes to post office to complain on 9/28 they say "oh sorry we sent out late" it will be there by next week. Now here I am 10/10 still nothing.
I see all the people I was ahead for Lagos and they are either already interviewed and ready for POE or this month all getting interviewed. And I am at least 2 to 3 months away from even dreamin of an interview. So that 3 month NOA2 just doesn't seem such a hot great thing right now.
But at least I get to hang out with ya'll and well help where I can when I can. Thats all we really can do. PAY IT FORWARD.!!
