Interesting. Now you have me thinking about this again. I will try to get more info on this, because if they do MERGE the two petitions, THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!

Just a side note; It's your daughter, why not file a CRBA and get your kiddo a US passport? http://santodomingo.usembassy.gov/crba_main-e.html

    1. All of those documents will be mailed to the beneficiary and/or petitioner by the embassy. Also, there is a link with very detailed info here on VJ. I used both links for my entire process and they are current and detailed. If it's not here, you won't find it anywhere. Also, you or your spouse may never receive an interview letter because of the horrible postal service system in DR. This is normal and you should not worry, but if that happens, it will be necessary for you to call the embassy to retrieve the information you need. That number is located in the first link. Starts with 877 and cost $7.00 dollars each call - credit card only.

    2. The Banco Popular fee should be paid when you find out the interview date or basically any time before the interview. Do not pay on the day of. But be sure to pay the correct amount. Some Banco Popular employees are unfamiliar with all of the fees and have told many of us the wrong amount, causing us to pay the fee last minute. They did this with my husband and we had to leave and return to the interview after paying the correct amount. Pay the amount you on the interview letter or the amount mentioned on these links above. I am not familiar with the K1 fee but it is in the above link. Do Not let them tell you otherwise. The $210 fee is for the interview. That i separate and you pay this on the day of the interview.
    3. As far as the interview letter, if you do not receive this, again you must call the embassy and ask them when the interview is and ask them to resend the letter. There are circumstances where they do not have the information in the system. This causes a problem but that is what we have the Visa Specialists here for. Call them and they will tell you everything you need to know, but they cannot send the interview letter. This is the job of the embassy. For example, after your documents are sent to the embassy, wait about 2 weeks and if you have not received a letter, call the embassy. If they have no info, call the Visa Specialists and if they tell you there is an interview date, you need to call the embassy again and inform them of this. Tell them your fiance needs the letter for the medical exam, they will input the information and you can pick this up.

    4. As far as the K2 visa...that information is also in the link above. You should have began this petition when you started the fiance one. Look into this from now. And yes, the child would have to be there on the interview date. I have not petitioned for a child so that I am unfamiliar with, but again, the link above is the bible for this process.
    5. Domex: After the visa is approved they give you a ticket to pay at the Domex desk. I have never heard about it being able to be expedited but maybe it's possible. I personally have seen that picking up the visa works much faster. Some areas in DR are difficult to deliver to, thus prolonging the process. If the fiance lives in the capi, its better to pick it up.
    Hope this helps

LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG HILARIOUS! (Pronounced : Naygro) It's a pet name often used by Latinas to refer to their husband/boyfriend - most often a darker skinned person. But....my husband calls me his Negrita and I am obviously not dark skinned by any means....

Reading on here about RFEs it seems lawyers (which should be versed in the process) make as many if not more mistakes on applications. I think most of the attorneys are totally clueless as to the process and just wing-it for the dollar.
Lots of trust to the joke about 500 at the bottom of the ocean - a good start.

It doesn't say RFE on the form, it is a Notification, so you got an Request For Evidence about a divorce decree. I am expecting one also as I sent an old copy I had on file, have since requested a new certified copy so that I am ready for the RFE.

As long as you have your case number I would not worry too much, and you mentioned you can track it on their site so relax. Now if it were the NOA2 I for sure would want a copy.
But as others have said, you are not the first to not receive their NOA1.

However.... as opposed to most of the other replies to your Q,... I think, if I am a reviewer, THAT Q IS PRETTY DARNED IMPORTANT AND.... if you forgot to answer it AND ONLY IT.... I'm already suspect, upon initial review of your petition. So, I'm going to send some RFE's your way. I wouldn't expect an easy ride, now... until they are satisfied that your past is clear. (or, ... is it???)

They are not allowed to damage another countrys passport like that. It makes the passport invalid and it is now not usable because its been tampered with. She should file a complaint against the person who did it. She will need to apply for a new passport as well.

they normally take 2-3 days to process anything you sent to them, but you can always email it to them in the event they lost it. But how did you pay our IV fee if your DS3032 hasn't been received yet?

A fake visa? And you wonder why misrepresentation followed you? Did you think you wouldn't get caught? And again, this can follow you throughout your entrances. Just because you fooled the CBP a few times and were admitted when you shouldn't have been, doesn't mean that lie, misrepresentation wouldn't follow you and catch up to you
Sorry, not much anyone here can do for you, not much anyone can do for you. What you did was material fraud (meaning you planned to lie) and that carries a lifetime ban
Canada is a beautiful country, I miss it dearly. Enjoy your life there
    Good luck

Using a fake visa is material misrepresentation, illegal and fraud. You surely cannot be surprised by your life-time ban from the USA.

You will create the 134 support form & forward to her after which she will submit it prior to the intervew. This gives you about 6 months to be employed. Your should also submit tax transcripts for 3 years. The gap in employment can be explained by a simple letter attached to the 134.
