What if IRS have not processed the 2021 taxes,Thus there will be no Tax Transcript which is in my case...Still thinking of what to do....Interview is in 2 weeks....I mailed in my taxes this year...Thats why is taking longest for IRS to process

@oscar12 I called them...And the NOA1 that I received in the mail said Vermont but the online account said Nebraska...Thats why I called to be sure of which service center and I was advised that I am at the Vermont center but luckily I was approved within 60 days or so.

Timeline..

January 4th:  Mail Petition thru FedEx next day 

January 5th : I-130 Petition delivered to Arizona lockbox

Feb 6th,2021 Check cashed

Feb 9th : Received a text that my case is accepted and processed at Nebraska center

Feb 10th, 2021 : First actively review on January and case in Vermont center

Feb 11th or 12th: Called USCIS to confirm which service center and was advised that am in Vermont service center...I cried the whole night 🌙 Accepted the outcome.

I didn't know how it made it to Vermont but somehow it did.

Feb 13th : Received NOA1 Behold..Vermont was written bold on the letter and advised case was in Vermont for faster process...I don't know how looking at the processing time but somewhere I never knew that was 🙌blessing from God..

April 21st : Second actively review

April 22,2021 Approval and sent to state department.

Nothing special about my case,Just prayers and God's will. 

This ordeal thought me that God knows the best for us and we can't question God's will in our lives.

 I wish you all the best of luck and the journey continues for my family..I was even in the processing of buying a ticket to go visit my wife around September...Now I am sure going..maybe I can make it back here with her.

First actively review on January 10th right after they sent me a text that they received my petition, and then updated again to another actively review on the April 21st. Approval follow the next day..Nothing special my case,Just prayers and God's will.

Guys, Vermont service center just 🙌 blessed my case..This is the happiest news ever for the whole year. .Thank you Lord.I was really preparing myself for a long haul wait after my case was transferred to Vermont right after paper submission, but afterall, It wasn't a bad move.He is an awesome God....I wish everyone waiting before and after me all the best of luck and hopefully you will receive this blessing that came to me today.

Same here ...Mine was transferred right to Vermont service center the day it changed to actively been reviewed by USCIS...I only find that about the transfer when I called and talk to them...No notice was issued about the transfer.

Received by USCIS early Feb,2021

Check cashed on Feb,2021,Followed with a case no that starts with IOE×××××××××

Check USCIS online page...Said case was received and process at Nebraska early this week and couple of days later...I called customer service because I have not received NOA1 in mail, Was told case was transferred to Vermont for faster processing but looking at this group, I don't know how that is possible

Case status change again to case been actively reviewed by USCIS...

Looking at this fransfer cases to Vermont..The long wait is scaring my heart out...

At this point,I have to zero my mind for 2022 before getting an approval and is scary.

I honestly don't think there is any thing special about a case been actively reviewed, Is standard to my understanding. They are just letting you know that they are working on it. That means approval could take a month or 12 months. Immigration is just matter of filling your forms right and providing enough evidence to prove your case. If they feel convinced with your evidence and no background check issue, You get your approval. Every case is different and will always be because we all answer different name and all from different backgrounds.

There is also some element of luck that comes with it. It could either be a month or 12 months. I'm honestly just glad that my case was accepted because I starting freaking out a little bit when it took over 30 days just for the acceptance. That's the human nature and that's okay. Wish all of us the best of luck while we wait for our love ones to join us.

N0A1 is taking 2 months for those filing AOS withing US. 3 months isn't uncommon during COVID times. So, ideally, you should relax. You're wasting your energy and time. My friends filed and got their receipts 2 months later. They're AOSing. They've not even got biometrics yet they filed in September 2020. I know they're doing a different process from yours. I am just giving you a rough idea of the current trend set by the COVID. 

 

Everything has slowed down. Not just K-1s. Citizenship is now taking 1.5+ years. I filed in July. I've not even got biometrics yet. @JFH filed in 2019. She hasn't even got biometrics for citizenship yet.

 

So, I'll say take it easy. 

I appreciate your advice...I didn't know before sending my application that the process take this long  just to issue NOA1 but my mistake, I should have gone with the online filling the first place...But is okay, I will be patient for another week or two while working on the online application to be be ready incase if I ever have to use it...All i have to do is canceled my money order and click submit on USCIS website and is done.

And then,Wheneve the lockbox realize they can't cash the money order ,they can send back the whole document back

I agree with you.The delay is heart provoking, .I sent my I-130 petition and was received on the 5th of this month...I'm giving them one month max,Which is 30 days as required,If I don't get my NOA1, I will quickly canceled the check and file online...

Very wrong move for them to see any pictures like that....They obviously know you guys are serious and they know the different between k1 and Cr1 visa.They just wanna come up with the pictures showing you and your fiance wearing the same dress in front of people...They will totally label it s as a traditional marriage and deny it base on the fact that you both are married and using the wrong visa...Don't provide a lot of pictures like that. ..Just ordinary pictures of you two together and a lot of phone records can do.....Good luck

Received my Passport and Naturalization certificate the same day on Saturday ,March 21st,2015.

That marks the end of my immigration Journey.

Exactly the same question I got On my interview Gildayjason.....Probably the easiest thing ever on this earth...He just gave me a piece of paper saying Congratulation and that your application has been recommended for approval...He didn't ask for any other document..Not even a single paper.....Just as easy as it could ever be..Waiting for the Oath letter...He said with in a week or two...I will be getting the letter..

Just keep it the way it is and answer truthfully because they have all her visit on file and access each case prior to your interview, Be prepare to answer why she visited just once and only 6 days. Make sure to have a lot of evidence to back up your case....and hope for the best... ....Good luck

DUI is a big issue when applying for a US citizenship....And any arrest is a big set back...I will advice you prepare enough and possibly get a lawyer to help during your citizenship process..Good luck
