  1. So sorry,I can understand your pains...I just thought if i was in this position, how would i really feel...Too hard on myself i guess but Delay is not denyal,They can only delay you and your love from been together for a while not forever...I think the best way forward is just to revoke the visa and refile and move forward from there...Prepare more and gather more evidence and Get your Senate man involve....Am sure USCIS will approve in no time and you just have to hit Lagos Consulate real hard...

When i had my interview back in Lagos last year,i notice that most people get denied becouse of not been confident during the interview process...Basically,Lagos Consulate base there decisions with how they conversation with the applicant and the CO goes...Becouse Immigrant visas such K-1 or so are not meant to be denied in the embassy level unless they noticed some foulplay in the beneficiary decumentations or maybe the way the interview went...Like his or her reactions,If the beneficiary was able to answer the basic questions during the interview and was bold enough to speak up loud and clear....Its always on the approval end...lol....Trust me,When i was in the interview room in Lagos...Is an Open room where you can see and hear how every other person is been interviewed ...,While waiting to be called,I noticed that the CO"s themselves find it difficult to approve some people as much as they try to--- with the way they react, shake and answer question...I still remm one guy that was been interview befor me,During the interview,The guy could not even remm his fiancee middle name and that is crazy...What of the age...He was repeating different date at random...The guy totally messed up,I felt for him though but i know it wont turn out good and within 5 mins,The guy got denied......That is just it...Most times they dont care the full load of the evidence you bring in and all that...They go with the conversation first...Then if that goes well,They look bit at maybe phone log and that is just it...And thats one of the major reason why they dont let American citizen to be present inside the interview room.....Becouse they ar very very bold and Confident, they know there right and the will look in to your eyes and tell you what you wanna know and thats the answer to Lagos Consulate...lol is funny but is true.......During mine,Immidately i was called up for a window, cant remm the no again,I Stood up and after the Oath process....They guy started with looking at me face to face...I think he ask like whats your fiancee full name, the age...Which city she live in...the kind of house she live in,Which i know him his self didnt even know the kind of the house my sweetheat live in...But well i know this things and was able to be answer them promptly and he repeated questions like twice or so...Which i dont mind...I just keep on smiling and laughing professionally and all that and Within 5 mins or less...He brough out the Package we first sent to USCIS which include the whole evidence ...Pictures,phone log ,email and so on and so fort....He couldnt even look at any of them becouse they ar just so much plus the one i came in with for the Interview process,....So after like 5 mins or less of the questions...They guy ask to see phone record..I brought out Verizon Phone log with my fiancee name on top of it and with my MTN line in every single day on each month...They guy just look at the first page and said that i should wait till next week and collect my passport with my visa....He gave me back all the pictures including the ones we sent in iniatially when we file for our k-1 in califonian service center.....

So what am saying is mostly about knowing your fiancee very well,Secondly,Confidence is the key and Be ready to smile and laugh professionally.I always tell my guys is not a do or die thing...As much as Immigration benefit is not my right,Is my life and i decide on what to do with it.......So maybe you need to take time and ask your finace to tell you the detail of the interview with every bit of the questions and how he answers them but experience is the best teacher.Once again am sorry for your pains and i pray you remain strong and fight for the love of your life....For my own suggestion on what to do...Dont waste your time for them to reopen your case here in the US.Just go on and cancel it and refile immiddatly, gather more evidence and if possible...Get your Senate man involve and befor you know it,You will be right there...Forget What people say about Lagos Consulate that is hard and all that,You can always make a differnece and people go thru there,So will you...Prepare hard and hit them hard...You ar good to go...Once again...Take heart and remain strong in love,Thats the key to a successful relationship

  6. (F) Cases are different and most times it depends on which immgration officer our case is assigned to...Most are lucky to get people that follow up and process each cases as they are assigned to them but some will take thEre time,Just keep it waiting under there sit as far as is within the time frame which is suppose to be adjudicated,Maybe when is a week or few days or maybe few days outside the NORMAL processing time,The officer will bring it up, flip over it and recommend for approval...Then it will pass thru the Tie 1 person that will sign...So is all about luck sometimes....My k-1 took just 28 days to be approved from NOA1...i dont think i have most easy case but stil,It was approved just within a month ,So now in the US,why is my EAD taking this long, close to 2 months which definitly could have been approved within a week or so after my biometrics,Just to run the background check....Which is understandable that FBI have to do there own job and sent back....Then after that, whats the point of keeping EAD card and waiting for 2 to 3 months to come for them to approve it....So sometimes is all about who has each case and all i can say is jus luck IT could be very hard staying home and doing nothing to support your spouse....Most times it breaks down homes and is really hurting mine real bad...Having my wife do everything,is killing both of us but what can we do than just wait and pray it gets approve soon......

    (L) It will happen in Jesus name and the waiting will surely not break our lovely homes..Becouse we have the BIG (L) HEART to wait ..Thanks to the Loard that gave us such heart (L)

  7. Your case might be different but i look at that Lagos Consulate base there decision on certains things....

If your American wife was to be a Nigerian and live in Nigeria,And it happens that she is older than you like say 7 to 10 years,Would you have sincerely married her for good.....Which in Nigeria,I am sure than %95 of people out there wont settle for such marriage but if the other way round, maybe the guy is older with 7 to 10 years,Is okay and very acceptable becouse in Nigeria we always see it that the man is suppose to be older so as to have the wife respect him at all times but Here in America, age is nothing but just number...For the short period i have been here...i have seen woman of like 45 years old marry a guy of 25 and they live happily and enjoy there lives as they day goes by......

So,Most tmes,Lagos Consulate base there decision on the Nigerian way of living which i think is most likely to be the trutful outcome of most cases.......But am still not against woman been older becouse my wife was even older than me with 2 years and to us,it was nothing and when i had my interview...I was approved within 2 mins of asking me how we met and how i propose to my wife....Moreso,My wife was from a Nigerian parents but was born and raise here.....so i guess most cases are different....

Secondly,Lagos Consulate can also approve visa in grounds that assuming that the petitioner been the older american woman has never been married and has no child ever in her life before been with you and filling for your case,Even if there is 15 years age difference,Is always given some considerations and most times, the approval is always on the go becouse she was never married before and dont have kids and of good age of getting married and raising a family....Thats a clean case and is always approved....i said this becouse i know one 27 years older Nigerian guy that was approved of k-1 visa in 2009,when the wife was 48....which is more than 12 years differnce but both were approved becouse they had a clean case and they lady visited him like 4 times piror to there interview in Nigeria....They were approved and both are still living together till date....So i see it that each case is view differently and they sometimes try to assume if both were to be Nigerians and living in Nigeria,Would they both have ever think of getting married.....

Thats how i see it ...All i said is just kind of thoughs and things i have i have seen happen,i could be wrong but i hope this helps.....Have other Nigerians that deals with Lagos Consulate advice you more rather than basing your decisions on just your own personal experience......

  11. Well after reading your last post,i realize why you felt this way about the whole situation,i mean no one will just let go after going back and forth trying to make things work initially and someday realize that it all worthless and full of betryaI...Trully in my heart i can feel your pains as if it was happening to me for real...i truly know how it feels to go through such betrayal....Just do what you feel is best...I will be checking back to see the outcome of the case and i pray the result turns out the way you want so as to enable you move pass this stage of your life....Hold on more for other Vj membrs to suggest on the best way for you to follow it up with the process...Once again,Take out time and rebuild your heart okay.I wish you the best.

  12. 13. Well you had made the mistake initally by not knowing her too well befor getting married to her.Right now,i think you should just focus on the child you had and give him or her the best and and not let this worry you so much becouse there is little or nothing you can do at this point

I said this becouse your story showed that she is now a permanent residence with no conditions, meaning that she have her 10 years greencard ,There is less or even nothing you can do about that at thispoint....Beisdes she has the right to divorce you if she feels the marriage is not working out for her.Moreso, Even if you want to go on with the issue of her not been a citizen,How well can you prove that to USCIS and the immigration Judge that she didnt actually marry you for love,Were you said you both had a baby together and That means maybe she was in love with you and maybe things didnt fall the way she wanted, she decided to move on with her life.....People get divorce everyday becouse of one thing or the other and am sorry if yours fail for any reason dosent really mean she didnt loved you at the beginning and wants out becouse she feel she can do better than you......Is just nothing you can do to prove this at this point....... Besides She can choose not to applyfor Citizenship and that wont even affect her in anyway....Been a US citizen is not a must,Is by choice,As far as you are a greencard holder with no condition....The person has the legal right to live here as long as he or she wants becouse i myself know alot of people that are permanent residence for over 20 years and still live and work legally,All they do is renew there greencard at every 10 years piror to the expiration.......So,She just need to keep renewing it every 10 years even if she is still married or not married to you.....Thank God she didnt even take you to court requesting for child custody...Some people would even do that,You would just have yourself struggling to keep the baby....

So My suggestion is just try to focus on rebuilding your life and giving your baby the best.....And not worry with the immigration. Let God take care of this for you...Maybe is even better for you that way than living with her...Things happen in our life for reasons and for us to learn from it okay...Try to be happy,There is more to life than having this worries....But anyway...Have others advice you more on this....All i said is just a suggestion and am sorry things turn out this way for you....if you search up all my cotents,i know i have talked about this at some point where i was trying to advice on people knowing there spouse very well befor jumping in to immigration issue becouse theere is so much more to marriage than just dating on online and over the mobile...

I hope my great Vj people will learn from people experinece and be more careful...am not saying my marriage is the best but Thank God i married a woman that at some point knows a little bit of my culture piror on us been on the same roof...It help us to adjust to our new life,Change on little ways we can and accept those ones we cant change and learn to live with it....That is just how i see it

Once again,Sorry for the pains okay.i pray you recover sooner.
