I'm a US citizen. My spouse is in the US with a CR1 visa. We want to bring (sponsor) her son to live with us in the US. Where can I find a list of all supporting documents to file the I-130. I want to ensure I have everything (supporting documents) so that I do not get RFEs. Many thanks.

Should I submit an affidavits form? Do you think it is necessary? We have all the required documents including marriage certificate, pictures of our wedding. Below is quoted from i130 instruction "1. Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by third parties having personal knowledge of the bona fides of the marital relationship. Each affidavit must contain the full name and address of the person making the affidavit; date and place of birth of the person making the affidavit; and complete information and details explaining how the person acquired his or her knowledge of your marriage;"

Hello forum, My wife recently has submitted a N400 form and in the question "Does your spouse have an A number", we marked No But recently I found that the number on my Employment Authorization card is the A number, however I didn't realize at the time. Can we revise that section to the application? We are also filing the i130/i485 package Thank you much!

Hi all, my wife came here on a k1 visa. We gotten married and filed for AOS and EAD. I believed I had used the wrong code for EAD. Uscis is asking for the fee for the EAD. I was informed that since she has a pending AOS a fee for the EAD is waived. Am I correct or do I need to pay for the fee. I used the code A6 which I believe I made a mistake. Can someone tell me which category code I should be using. many help is greatly appreciated.

Asking this for someone I know who is considering taking an Embassy job overseas. Has anyone been in this situation with a pending petition at USCIS? Would they even consider moving your petition to the Embassy/Consulate you work at, or would that be considered a conflict of interest or unethical?
