Anyone who completed i-130 standalone (CR1/IR1)process recently- how long does it take to receive green card after entering US please? What are options to travel out of the country before receiving card in hand ? Thanks

I received the I-130 approval notice on the 1st of February, 2024 (a few days ago). When do you think I will receive the welcome letter from NVC? and how soon can I expedite the process? FYI: I had expedited the I-130 due to a medical emergency.

February 2024 is finally here! Will be filing to remove conditions towards the end of the month!

Hi all my son finally got his green card he has a fianc and baby boy can anyone guide me which is the best way to file for them from the uk she is here in USA on ESTA at the moment and doesn t have to work but does want to go the quickest route to live here

Apologies if this is not in the right section.

I have booked my visa appointment for March today in London, and my appointment is in the morning so I am staying over night at a hotel. I was wondering if anyone has any experience of what they can bring to the appointment - am I allowed to bring a backpack with my clothes/makeup/toiletries in or is this forbidden?

The website states that i cannot bring anything over the size of cabin luggage but I just want to make sure as I don't want to be turned away.

My appointment is at 11am and usually check outs for hotels etc is at midday so I would be bringing my bag with me.
