US Immigration from United Kingdom

Two weeks ago I got the NOA2 for my I-129F application. I just tried to call the NVC (phone # on this site is given as 603 334-0700) to see if they had received my application. Unfortunately they have closed this line down.

The recorded message sent me to nvc.state.gov. On that website there is an announcement that says this

"Answers to many common questions can be found using our self-service tools. Please log into https://ceac.state.gov for your most current case status and for a list of any documents you are required to submit."

When I use that link, I assumed I could find what I needed under "Check my Visa application status" under "Non-immigrant" Unfortunately the only case number I have is the USCIS receipt Number (WAC***) but that appears to be wrong.

I'm not really sure what to do at this point so if someone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated!

Hey guys - I just got approved for eb-1a in row and curious as to how long it will take before I receive NVC welcome letter and can upload all my documents. FWIW, I hold a sub-Saharan African country passport but live and work in London, so my application is to be routed to the London embassy.
If anyone has gone through this process previously and can please share a list of all documents required by the London embassy and the NVC. That will be appreciated.

So, super quick question - I'm now residing in the States (due to get married here soon!!) and am just wondering; does anyone know how I'd go about receiving mail at my new address? Like... do I need to register as being a resident here to get my mail (if I'm having mail addressed to me sent here), or what's the standard operating procedure? Do I need to have my green card before I'm classified as living here?

Any input would be appreciated!!

I don't know which forum is correct for my question, so pleas Admin be kind with me.

I have all sorted, tickets, VISA etc and now dealing with a company that will send via airplane a few boxes of my personal belongings.

I have many questions but one is this, I am listing now box number 6 and I get this message

'Please ensure that your items do not exceed 850.00'

This happened after listing two camera lenses and valuing them 200.

So now I am blocked and every time I send a question to my sending agents it takes 30 minutes or more to get a reply so I am wasting so much time.

Also, many items are not coming up in the dropdown list.

Say, bike seat/saddle. Not there. Bike lights. Nothing. Contact lens liquid - not there.

And the agent confirmed that I can send up to 100ml of liquid (after checking with managers) but then another lady at the same office said, that all liquids are prohibited.

I mean, what am I supposed to do? It's 12$ for a bottle of contact lens cleaner at Walmart while I get 3 for a fiver here...so I was trying to bring 1000 ml spread over 40 boxes.

Such a waste of time...any suggestions? They don't have things like random art materials, wire for craft, nothing.
