US Immigration from United Kingdom

Hi all,

I was just wondering what supporting evidence people decided to take along with them to their visa interview?

I ve seen online that bank statements, employer letter, W2, Tax Return, pay stubs, evidence of assets, etc all mentioned. Is there anything else that I need to obtain? Do I need to provide any financial supporting evidence for myself?

Just want to make sure so I can get all the supporting evidence together and ready for my visa interview that s all.

My aunt has been approved by the NVC as of 03/08/2023. My aunt is in Ecuador and is supposed to have her interview at the Consulate in Guayaquil. My question is, from when you were approved, how long did it take to have the interview? My mom applied originally back 12 years ago and were finally approve 3/8/2023. My mom is a US Citizen and has been for over 20 years now. Please help me have hope and give me recent timelines please!! Thank you guys in advance.

A quick question I am hoping one of you might know. I applied to renew my 10 year GC, and I received a receive your biometrics appointment notice

note on my acct. I am currently on vacation in England, and won t be back in America until end of August. Will this now be delayed or can I visit a UK embassy to get this done? I ve tried to contact the USCIS, but cannot find how to send a message or the right tool to use for communicating. Can anyone help?

Interview done sometimes in April 2024 but 221g note was given with no additional information requested.
Status just changed from REFUSED to READY a week ago after the 60days timeline.
There is no progress since then.
Anyone with useful experience to share on their wait time ?
Saw a few post about people getting stuck on READY status without progress for long.

My mom is a UK citizen and I am naturalized from the UK. I am currently filling in the I-130 for her while she completes the I-485. She has technically been with me since last year July. She owns property in the UK but had a tenant in there while she lived in Brazil pre-July 2023. Once she left Brazil, she had to initiate eviction proceedings against her tenant. During that time, she has "lived with me" but leaving every 3 months so as not to violate ESTA. We are aware we can't keep doing that so it's best to just file for her. The I-130 asks for my mother's address for the past couple years. Is it a problem if we put mine for the past year? Technically she has not lived anywhere else for the past year. When she has been leaving every 3 months, she goes on a vacation or goes home and stays with family. Thanks for your help!
