US Immigration from United Kingdom

My husband is a Pilot and is looking to enroll in an ATP course after immigrating to the US (on a K-1 visa), with the goal of completing his re-training/licensing whilst he waits to receive his green card. Ahead of enrolling in the course, he s required to obtain TSA security clearance. He received an email stating that security threat assessment (STA) has been reviewed and requires corrections and to upload a US Permanent Resident Card or other documentation demonstrating legal presence residence .

His I-485 and I-765 are pending and the K-1 visa expires 9/7/24. Have any other pilots out there encountered this situation with TSA, when your legal status is just AOS? If yes - what information did you provide to TSA to grant clearance? Any tips or advise would be greatly appreciated!

Have any of you had any experience/understand of how exactly to go about filing a Writ of Mandamus?

You may have seen my previous post about our case being skipped for the past 6 months. We were documentarily qualified on the 11th of April, and we still haven't received an interview letter!

We have asked our congressman to submit queries, and we have also requested to expedite the case - the congressman received similar unhelpful template responses, and the expedite request was ignored.

We now have no choice but to consider suing the NVC.

How do we submit the initial writ? Do we sue the NVC and the embassy? How is it done from outside of the US, etc.? And what state would we file in? We are at the begining of researching the process, but any tips or advice would be much appreciated!

I had my visa interview 2 weeks ago and I was approved which is great. I just wanted to ask people what shipping companies/couriers they used to send their items over to the USA if possible please?

I have been looking into a few already (DHL, Fedex and UPS) and been getting a few quotes.

Hi all - I was approved for my IR1 visa last week and thankfully have my passport. My plan is to travel to the US on 30th September. I am just curious as to what actually happens when I land at immigration control. I understand I am given some more forms to complete. Struggling to find more info other than that

My K-1 interview at the U.S. Embassy in London is next Thursday. I m currently in the process of gathering the required documents, and I was wondering if it s acceptable that my fianc sent me a photocopy of part 5 which requires a wet ink signature on the I-134 form?
