Hi - I was DQ on 25th March 2024 and am waiting eagerly for my appointment at the embassy. Can anyone tell me how we get notified of the appointment - is it by letter or email? I am hoping to find out within the next week or 2. Also - from anyone else's experiences, how long did it take to get the notification of appointment Many thanks in advance

Hi - I have a valid ESTA and travelled to the US from the UK last summer for a 4 week holiday, whilst in the early stages of the IR1 application. At that time we were told travel was fine providing we had proof of UK residence - i.e. mortgage statement. This year we are planning on the same trip in June but are at the DQ stage and waiting for Interview appointment at the London Embassy. Does anyone know if I can still travel on my ESTA if we cannot get an appointment before we are planning on going? All the information I have seen suggests that I do not travel until everything is all approved. Thanks in advance
