I already filed the I-130 online. I m about to mail the I-485 and have:

1. Check for $1440

2. Form I-485

3. 2 passport photos of my mom

4. Mom s birth certificate (copy)

5. My birth certificate (copy)

6. Copy of face page of my mom s UK passport

7. I757 receipt for I130

8. My naturalization certificate

9. Mom s I-94

10. Form I-864

11. 2023 w2

12. 2023 tax return

am I missing anything. My mom is 58 years old. I m not concerned about her getting work or travel authorization at this time.

I have read that the recommendation is to apply and get the SSN before getting married which is what we are likely to do, however, has anybody applied for it after getting married and if so were there any issues?

I'm the USC and my husband is the UKC.

We are at the very beginning of the process (I submitted the I-130 in August). Our house is currently on the market (predates our interest to move to the US). The net profits after the mortgage payoff will be approximately 250,000. Can I transfer the required assets to my US account in advance ( 90K)? Does it need to be in my account for a specified period of time before the NVC/Affidavit of Support stage?
