Hello everyone. I am new to this forum . I would like advice and assistance. I am 71 years young from UK and my SO is 58 USA . We have been talking online for 2 years and are in love . I will be going to see him this year for the first time . we have been thinking about marriage and the immigration process. He is divorced and I a widow . I got advice from a consultant not a lawyer. My SO and I would like to marry online because - it eliminates the stress of spending money we just don t have we are on a fixed income it is economical
- . it also manages complex logistics bringing family together from different countries.
- I don t risk breaking immigration laws
- My SO has some disability s that restrict his mobility.
the consultant said that I was too old which was rude and that marrying online looks suspicious no matter the reasoning. can I get a second opinion am I too old and is marrying online a red flag given the reasoning ?

Workplace Flu Vaccination Query |

Hi all, My workplace is offering free Flu vaccines for employees which I am interested in having. I didn't have the Flu vaccine when I had my medical which was near the end of June as it wasn't Flu season. I had my K1 visa approved last month but am not travelling over to the USA until December. I wanted to know if anyone has had a Flu vaccination through their employer and whether when it came to the AOS that the Flu vaccine from employer was accepted at all? I did ask my company if they can provide proof of vaccination but all they said was I could talk to the nurse about what vaccine I have had which didn't really answer my query. I imagine this answer might depend on when the AOS is filed and if during Flu season in the USA (not too sure on this so any advice would be greatly appreciated!). Hope you can help!

Hey everyone, I just got my I-751 approved (with divorce waiver) and I am mentally preparing for the final hurdle. The earliest I can apply to N-400 is August 2025 (general 5 year rule). My question is about taxes. I currently have taxes filed for the following years: 2021,2022,2023. By Aug 2025, I will have taxes filed for 2024. I am missing 2020. I was dependent on my ex-husband and I only got my conditional green card on Feb 2021. It was my ex-husband who would have filed it and I don t have a copy of it. Tbh I don t think he even filed it since he was so broke during that time. I don t have any contact with him. What do I do?

Hello All, Can anyone please comment on what are the wait times for EB1A interview at London, UK embassy? I see lot of threads on family based consular processing, but very few on employment/EB1A. Any feedback would help.

Listing University Address on DS-260 |

Hi there - I was curious if it is necessary to list university addresses on DS-260? My husband did not list his university address, as he said he never officially changed his address anywhere for any sort of legal purpose (driver's license address always stayed the same, for example). And naturally, he always went home (where he lived before and after uni) for summer/winter break. His school was ~2.5 hrs away from his home - so not as though he moved abroad or anything. Would this be considered a temporary address? Or should he bring an updated DS-260 with him to his interview containing university addresses? We've DQ'd since June 28th. So beginning to overthink every little thing.
