As per topic. Does RFE come before or after biometrics? I just received mine today from Nebraska service center after a 240 day wait.

Hi everyone, I saw the existing thread on a similar situation from the woman from Dominican Republic, however mine has the added caveat of having an active K1. My wife and I have had an active K1 for a while, i had 3 interviews cancelled between April and July due to covid situation in the UK. When the uk opened back up in July, i flew to the US to visit my fiance as we hadnt seen each other for so long. I entered on a B2 with the sole intent to visit and return when the embassy allowed interviews again (as we didnt think it would be that long due to the uk reopening) or a couple days before my i-94 expired... whichever came first. A few weeks ago when the UK and EU nations locked down again we got scared that we would have extreme trouble seeing each other due to covid restrictions and the london embassy ignoring k1s so we got married over zoom so that if travel restrictions were an issue, then because we are married it might not be so much of a problem. We were then going to cancel k1 and start a CR1/IR1. However, someone told me that as im in the US ans my i94 doesnt expire till Mid February, we can just file AOS now that we are married. Will this be likely to be denied, especially as we had an active k1? Thank you

I recently received my EAD/AP combo card and I'm hoping to travel home to the UK soon to see family, but I'm anxious about the possibility of being denied entry on return. I adjusted status from esta when covid hit, and though it wasn't our intent when I first came over, I'm worried the CBP could see this on my file and deny re-entry. Does anyone have experience of travelling with AP with a similar immigration journey? Im also curious if port of entry makes a difference. I have the option to travel through Dublin with preclearence, or through London and go through CBP at Miami airport. Would either be more likely to deny/approve an AP entry? Thanks for any advice!

Hey Guys!! I actually started a similar topic to this a couple of months ago and I've also done a ton of research, but I just need one last round of confirmation before I go ahead and book flights tonight LOL. Back story - I'm originally from Scotland, immigrated here on a K1 visa in June 2018 and now I am a Legal Permanent Resident/Green Card Holder. It's been 1 year since I last saw my Dad in Scotland due to Covid (Gggrrr) and I just really need to get home and see my dad and family. I believe I will have no problem entering the U.K. because I am still a British Citizen? And I will also have no problem getting back into the U.S. again because I am an LPR? Can anyone confirm this? I know I will have to quarantine in Scotland for 14 days therefore, I will be staying in Scotland for 15 days. My next question - Can my American Husband travel with me to Scotland since he is my spouse? I am going to book flights tonight for December 13th - December 28th!! Ahhhh so exciting! I will also be booking a busy route in order to ensure that I can definitely get on a flight! Thinking of flying JFK to Heathrow and then Heathrow to Glasgow. Lorna
