I recently received my EAD/AP combo card and I'm hoping to travel home to the UK soon to see family, but I'm anxious about the possibility of being denied entry on return. I adjusted status from esta when covid hit, and though it wasn't our intent when I first came over, I'm worried the CBP could see this on my file and deny re-entry. Does anyone have experience of travelling with AP with a similar immigration journey? Im also curious if port of entry makes a difference. I have the option to travel through Dublin with preclearence, or through London and go through CBP at Miami airport. Would either be more likely to deny/approve an AP entry? Thanks for any advice!

Hey Guys!! I actually started a similar topic to this a couple of months ago and I've also done a ton of research, but I just need one last round of confirmation before I go ahead and book flights tonight LOL. Back story - I'm originally from Scotland, immigrated here on a K1 visa in June 2018 and now I am a Legal Permanent Resident/Green Card Holder. It's been 1 year since I last saw my Dad in Scotland due to Covid (Gggrrr) and I just really need to get home and see my dad and family. I believe I will have no problem entering the U.K. because I am still a British Citizen? And I will also have no problem getting back into the U.S. again because I am an LPR? Can anyone confirm this? I know I will have to quarantine in Scotland for 14 days therefore, I will be staying in Scotland for 15 days. My next question - Can my American Husband travel with me to Scotland since he is my spouse? I am going to book flights tonight for December 13th - December 28th!! Ahhhh so exciting! I will also be booking a busy route in order to ensure that I can definitely get on a flight! Thinking of flying JFK to Heathrow and then Heathrow to Glasgow. Lorna

Hi folks, Got married last week on the K1 in California, we decided to give the official marriage cert. the chance to arrive before filing for AOS, and had been leaving filling out the forms until after the election in case they got updated and we had to do them all again or something. I'm now a bit confused that, if I read it right, the I-485 currently available for download at https://www.uscis.gov/i-485 is still the 10/15/19 version, which expires on 10/31/2020, so that form is invalid? Although the drop down menu says '10/15/19. We will publish a new edition of this form soon. In the meantime, you may continue using the 10/15/19 edition despite the expiration date,' I'm wary of using it, especially having seen on here that some people got RFE for out of date forms... In short, am I somehow not finding the right forms on the official website (someone mentioned a 08/25/20 version, though that might have been in reference to another form?), and if not, is it ok to use this 'expired' I-485 at the moment? Thank you.

We received a request for additional evidence stating that we filed 366 days late requesting an explanation with evidence as to why. My husband's green card expired 1/2020 and we filed I-751 1/2019 and received uscis notice of receipt. It was obviously within 90 days as advised on the uscis website. Has anyone else had this happen?

Chaps, I have my adjustment of status, request to travel and auth for work all sent in and waiting for next stages: on a K1 Visa. HOWEVER, I have an urgent requirement to go back to the UK due to my parents health failing rapidly (Not COVID). I tried to call the help line, but the computer system for calls gives me the run around and then kicks me off. I dont want to go back without advice, but I have no choice, after 18 months of work into this..... Who can I talk to? What number should I call? I have emailed but I never hear back for 6 weekds normally when I do that...... Thanks SB
