Hi! Hope someone can help!
I am a K1 > AOS applicant. My interview with my (now) husband is scheduled for end of March, 2021. In June 2019, I had my K1 medical examination completed in London, before entering the US in September 2019. However, I am now unsure about whether I need a completed Form I-693 to bring to the green card interview.
Back in June 2019 I had my Visa Medicals appointment in London (Knightsbridge) and I only received a sealed envelope, which I handed over at the port of entry to the US. I was not given a copy of a completed DS-3025. I did, however, get a sheet (see below) to bring to my own doctor in the UK to get additional MMR & TDP booster shots.
Shortly after, I went to my own practice to get these shots and the nurse who administered them was hugely grumpy about having to give a 'healthy' person unnecessary extra vaccinations on the NHS's dime. I am now super unsure if she communicated back to the Visa Medicals practice that I received these additional shots (as it asks in the last line below).
So I do not have a copy of the DS-3025 so do not know what that says and I am not 100% sure the original that I handed over at the POE reflects that I got all the right shots. Should I go to a surgeon general and get an I-693 filled out ahead of my interview?
What happens if at the green card interview USCIS asks for proof of my vaccinations? Can I show them the below? If that does not suffice, will my green card get rejected? If I do need another exam/proof of shots obtained, would there still be an opportunity to do this after the interview?
Would USCIS have written to me to let me know that they needed additional proof of my vaccinations ahead of interview?
Thank you!!
