Hi, We got married yesterday and were ready to post our full AOS package tomorrow after obtaining the marriage certificate. However, the clerk said that the certificate may take 3 weeks to arrive. My current I-94 is expiring on the 28th of March and I am worried if that I don't send in the package before this date, it may cause issues. I was thinking, would it be possible to send in the forms without marriage certificate and send when it does arrive? I have read that overstays are forgiven for spouses of US citizens if under 180 days. Is there a statement or article on the USCIS that confirms this?

Hello all, Our AOS interview is scheduled for 24th March and I ve learned that I need to travel internationally for work on 25th April. What could I do if my green card wasn t through by then? May I travel on my combo card? I m guessing not, but I m not sure what my other options would be. Many thanks in advance.

I've not seen anyone post this problem so We may be getting it wrong- My husband is trying to upload the most recent tax return. However it's a 100+ page pdf and none of the compression programs can get it reduced small enough to upload. Its the 1080 form and the w-2 form is included. Anyone have an idea of where we're going wrong?

I am really sorry to ask a question where there is so much info already on the topic, but I am feeling so overwhelmed and confused by the whole process and the sheer amount of info out there. My husband (US citizen), myself (UK citizen), and our two boys age 2 and 5 (both dual US/UK citizens) currently live in the UK. We lived in the US from 2015-2018 but I relinquished my green card when we moved to the UK. We have decided that after trying both, we much preferred life in the US and would like to move back. We would like to actually move in summer 2022 so that my son can start a new school year afresh. I have no clue what we even need to do other than file an I-130 to the London embassy and I really cant figure out when we should start the process in order to fit our plans as best as we can. Please can someone help me? Thank you!
