US Immigration from United Arab Emirates

Hi, apologies if this has been asked before, but I could only find 1 thread on this and both a "yes" and a "no" answer to the question.

We are filling the I-129F form now, and part 2 item 2 asks for beneficiary's a number (if any). My fiance was in the US 6 yrs ago on an f1 student visa. Would the A number assigned to her back then on that f1 visa be what goes into the i129f part 2 item 2 Beneficiary A number??

Anyone who was in the same boat before, what did you do?

Apologies if this has been answered already.

I am writing to understand if I can work while waiting for my SSN.

I will start a new job hopefully 1 week after I get my passport back from the embassy where I currently reside. I will travel soon-after my passport is returned to me with the temp stamp (hopefully no AP!). CR-1 case. Moving to California.

I understand that I can work without an SSN (see point 3 on this link) : it's just that it'll take additional steps for my future employer to register me without an SSN, and as long as I can provide an SSN prior to the conclusion of the current tax year (so they can withhold taxes)

My questions are as follows:

• Is the above understanding correct?
• Is it common for employers to do this?
• Is there a chance the employer refuses to do this additional and asks me to wait it out/rescind the offer?
• How long does it take for an SSN to arrive?

Do we apply 3 yrs after receiving greencard or 3 years after marriage?

I am living in UAE. I have a family residency visa. My visa sponsor is my father. I have been issue a IR1 visa from US embassy. Can I leave the country without cancelling my UAE residency visa?
