US Immigration from Uganda

I keep hearing people saying things will change now that Biden is in office, but there honestly has not been much done to fix the real issue we are all facing. The main issue is the embassies are not doing interviews even close to 2019 levels.

We all need to be raising a stink with our congressman about this. Lean on Biden to pass an executive order or something that does what ever it takes to ramp up interviews. Maybe declare the immigration workers essential works and get them vaccinated now so they can ramp up interviews. All politics and policy aside, there needs to be a ramping up of interviews to fix the logjams. That's the bottom line.

I wanted to ask if anyone has been schedule for an interview with a DQ in late March or April? If so, what is your DQ?

Hello this is quite long but i try to cut it short, my hubby and i got married 2017 we applied in 2018 luckily USCIS approved our petition and it was sent to NVC, my hubby made a pause because he wasnt making enough so last year he made enough money and uploaded all the necessary documents, while trying to make enough money we didnt meet at all ever since the wedding since we were saving money thou we werr communicating every single day.

1.So my question is could us not meeting for 4years now bring a denial decision?

2. Could us submitting the required documents later after 2years bring a denial?

3. On the interview do i have to take i- 864, federal tax return, form w-2 wage and tax statement, proof of assets documents in original copies or i take photocopies?

My case was approved in Feb 2021 and ready to be sent to NVC. Im a Ugandan, how long will it take me to get a visa ?

This is just heart breaking. Since July last year the status "At NVC". I have idea the reason behind not resuming immigrant visa process in Nairobi, yet the COVID infection there is way lower than what we have here on daily basis. Confirmed cases in USA: 27,826,812 and Deaths 490,540 as of today. While in Kenya: Confirmed case:103.332 and Deaths: 1,801.
