Just got my NOA2! My fianc is in Taiwan.

Question on I-134

The K1 guide on visa journey says to send my fianc the completed I-134. I was looking at the form and instructions for I-134 on the USCIS website. The where to file section on the website says to refer to the instructions, but the instructions say to check the uscis website.

So what am I supposed to do with this form? Just fill out and give to my fianc for the interview or submit it for processing (where?)

Hi March 2020 filer here.

It's been more than a year since I filed

My RFE response was received 1/5/2021 and it's been 81 days since then.

My RFE requested for:

1. submit a photo within 30 days of petitioner

2. 2 year meeting requirement

3. intent to marry

I believe I have provided all the sufficient evidence this time.

I emailed and called USCIS (tier 1 and tier 2) when I reached the 60 days limit and they told me to wait 45 days more.

Is anyone else in the same boat?

In October 2020 I received an RFE notice for information regarding my adopted son, who I am petitioning for with the I-130. I was able to use the USCIS online account to upload the needed documentation. It was received by them on November 3, 2020 and after further inquiry, they have indicated that the information is being reviewed. It has been 4 months now, and I still have not received notification of completion. Is this a long time to wait for RFE turnaround? Is there any way to estimate the time? Anything I can do to make the process speed up? Thanks!

Should I still file tax if my US income is under the minimum report requirement to show my bona fide marriage for my AOS interview?

So a bit about my current background. For the tax year of 2020, I am considered a nonresident alien since I have only spent 133 days in the US (arrived on Aug 20th, 2020). I married my USC spouse on Sept 10th, 2020, and I am in the process of AOS. I do have an SSN from when I was an F1 student.

We wish to file "Married filing separately" because if we declare me as a US resident for tax purpose, I would have to report my worldwide income in 2020, and it is a substantial amount (low six figures) and the troublesome form 8938 and FBAR that comes with it. My US income is considered zero if using 1040-NR and filed as "Married filing separately" since I cannot work and do not have US income. Should I still file it to show my bona fide marriage? We have other evidence such as joint account, utility bill, apartment lease, photos, and such. I am just uncertain how big a part tax filing plays in terms of bona fide marriage proof.

My CPA filed our Federal taxes and FBAR on Feb 10th. I owed a couple hundred dollars, which I paid via pay1040.com the same day. This morning, Feb 20th, I downloaded my 2020 return transcript. The IRS has already processed my return and my payment.......pretty fast
