For those of you who moved (within the same state or otherwise) and your service center changed before you had your biometrics done, how much did that delay your biometrics appointment? I am, like many others, still waiting and have been since August and I moved within the same state last month and unfortunately that meant that my service center changed as well. When your biometrics switch from once service center to another, do you just get put at the back of the line again or how does that work? I'm just hoping that it wont put me at the back of the line again, ugh..

I'm engaged to a U.S. citizen and we're in the K1 visa process. I'm from Sweden and we want him to come and visit me here, but with travel being the way it is right now I'm hoping that there's others on here that might have some experience with this... There are currently no direct flights between the US and Sweden. He's an exemption to the travel restrictions against people coming from the US into Sweden because he has a family connection to me since we have plans to get married in the future, but airlines and other countries in Europe seem to have their own rules concerning layovers. What I heard before is that the safest bet is to travel with SAS to Copenhagen and then from there to Stockholm and that many people have done this without a problem. But Sweden has a ban on travel from Denmark now, including if you've only had a layover there. So we've been talking about trying for him to fly with KLM to Amsterdam and then from there to Stockholm... My question is if there's anyone on here that has had any experience with this and can tell me what it was like for them getting on the plane, having the layover in Amsterdam and so on? Was there any problems or did everything go smoothly? Any other places anyone has had layovers in going to Sweden, especially as a partner to a Swedish citizen, would also be helpful.

I just got my W-2 from my on-campus job where I worked in 2020. As I am no longer a student (F-1) and is going through AOS. How would I go about doing taxes? I.e. what form do I file with? Do I still use the form for non-residents or do I use the normal tax forms? Me and my husband are planning on filing as married but filing separetly if that helps.

| I-944, Do I put my additional income for this tax year or last tax year? |

Last question about the 944 before I send it in (hopefully). For the part that asks about your additional income, they specify that it should be the income for the most recent tax year. Since the new tax year has started, I assume that I would not have to put anything there if I have not recieved anything, correct? Or are asking for the additional income for 2020? I just wanted to ask because if it is for last year, I would have to put a grant I received as a student on there whereas if they refer to this year I would not have to do so as I am no longer a student. Thanks!

Does student loans count towards the "Additional income" on the I-944? I understand that the grant I received as a student is considered as income, but I know that student loans are generally not considered as income so I wanted to see what the rest of you did.
