US Immigration from Spain

In the past I've been unsure about applying for an ESTA while the I-130 was pending. I've asked this question a couple times in the forum so I just wanted to let everyone know that we just applied for an ESTA for my husband while he has the visa pending document review at the NVC and it was approved within an hour. So for others wanting to visit from countries within the ESTA program, hopefully you won't have a problem either!

To.all here, I am very concerned about the notice of action that I have gotten. When I filed my I-130 , I received two notice of action forms. One was from the Texas service center, where the petition was mailed to, and the other from the Nebraska service center. Is this typical? The forms are slightly different, although they both say form I-797C, notice of action.

The one from Nebraska has a priority date on it, whereas the one from Texas does not have a priority date, only a notice date. Also, the notice of action from the Nebraska service center says the following:

We have received your form and are currently processing the above case for the following beneficiaries: , After which it does of course mentioned the name of my wife with her birthdate and country of birth.

My question is, when I login to my US CIS online account, it only shows a notice of action from the Texas service center, not from the Nebraska service center. I figure both would be showing. From what I ve said, does it seem as if my petition is at the Nebraska service center? I certainly hope so, because the wait times are much less long there than they are in Texas.

Does anyone have any idea here about this situation.... Our case is already at the embassy, we received Packet 4 mid August.. they canceled September appointments due to refugees being prioritzed over K1s, how are we supposed to file a waiver when we are so close to our interview (still not given a date, assuming first week of October but who knows)...

Guys, I'm a little confused. I was looking at the graphs on processing times, and it seems to indicate that NVC processing times are about as long as the processing times at USCIS. Can someone explain this, and can someone tell me if I'm wrong, and the amount of time we could expect?

My petition: CR1/IR1 (Married 11-10-2020, NOA1 05-21-2021 NSC, beneficiary is in Spain). I'm kind of wigging out here. I'm certainly hoping I have read that graph wrong. Please chime in!

I'm currently waiting to do my biometrics (pd 6/23/21) and I was offered a remote unpaid internship to get experience in what I studied and a certification/reference letter for whenever I need to start applying jobs. This is more like a training thing but I am not sure if this is legal to do while waiting on the EAD. Just wanted to make sure before that this is not illegal since it would be completely unpaid. Thanks!
