US Immigration from Russia

Probably my brain is too faded at this point in the pandemic... I can't find the provision (chapter and verse) for the commonly seen verbiage, "a provision in the law exempts the immediate relatives of U.S. citizens from the visa overstay." Maybe someone here knows where I can find it? Thanks!

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to find a guide for getting citizenship for my grandmother.
She has been living in the US for 5 years and has a green card for 5 years.
She also has mental health problems and will not be able to pass the exam.
I'm afraid to miss out on the right documents needed for the process. Please correct my list if there is something wrong with it.

At the moment I know we need the form:
1. N-400
2. N-648 (medical certificate of exclusion of disability)
3. Copy of the green card on both sides
4. Photo 2x2 (2 PCs)

5. Payment document

I got an email update this morning from the Russian Visa Center:

Hope you are well and Safe!

We are pleased to inform that the Russia Visa Center have resumed operation in New York via mail. RVAC is accepting applications for below categories initially:

1. Private visa Type II.

2. Diplomatic Visas

3. Business visas for foreigner nationals participating in the adjustment and maintenance of foreign-made equipment.

4. Multiple entry work visas for the purpose of visit foreign employee for highly qualified specialists in the field of culture and sports. The copy of the employment contract with the host organization is necessary to provide.

My wife and I find ourselves with a chance to move to Canada. I'm a U.S. citizen and my wife is a green card holder.

My wife has been stuck for the last two years waiting on getting her citizenship approved, seems it's a paperwork issue, we've passed all tests, etc.. since applying for her K1 in 2012.

My wife's line of work requires her to be a U.S. citizen or in the least, the good jobs require this. The wait for citizenship and a few other aspects made us take a look at Canada for her work and the opportunities are plentiful, so much so she qualifies for an express visa to Canada.

This brings me to my question. If we apply for the visa, will my wife have to stop and give up the chance at citizenship here in the states ? And would there be any issues or repercussions to her already valid green card ?

Thanks in advance for the info, I lived in Canada for a bit and the chance to go back is very, very intriguing.

I am thinking of meeting my fiance there in early January. How is the covid situation there and is there a lot of stuff you have to go through when you arrive at the airport?
