US Immigration from Russia

Hi all,

Im currently waiting for my n400 interview and noticed a RFE pop-up message that'd say something like "we mailed you instructions blah blah." Yesterday the message was gone when I logged in, and now my account page looks just like it used to, except the time estimate to complete my case is gone. Haven't received anything in mail yet, but am starting to wonder if that was just a website glitch. I don't know for how long the RFE message had been up since I first saw it last week when logging in to check the processing time, but I usually do so once over the weekend. Has that happened to anyone else?

My I-129F was approved on February 22nd and since then I have called NVC three times, each one week apart and they still haven't received my petition. They keep telling me it can take up to 60 days but it's now been seven weeks and I'm a little worried they lost it or never sent it. I've seen a lot of people on here getting approved after me and have already gotten their case numbers.

Should I be worried?

Can Potomac center be added to the information under the processing times tab?

My fiancee and I have been waiting about 1 year and 4 months just for our NVC Packet to be sent to the Embassy in Moscow. As soon as they receive the NVC Packet, we can get on with all the other paper work prior to the interview. Does anybody know when the Embassy will reopen, other steps we should take, how much longer we would have to wait before we can see each other? She's unable to travel to the United States because of this embassy shut down. All we want is for our papers to be sent to the Embassy in Moscow. What can we do besides wait?

We have submitted all the documents to the NVC. Currently, everything says either submitted or completed. How do I know that it is in the review stage? It is not like there is a status bar or any indication of where my case is at or whether or not I have done and submitted everything and they are now reviewing it. I have submitted their contact form to verify. However, they did not provide a concrete answer. Can anyone please advise? Thanks.
