Have anyone else's I-129F petitions essentially been "lost"?

My petition was approved on February 22nd. I have called NVC multiple times asking if they have received it and they still have not. They finally told me after 60 days I can email nvcresearch@state.gov and send them my approval notice and information and they will look into it for me. I did that a few days ago and called USCIS today and they said they confirmed they sent it to the NVC on February 23. I asked why is it that some people get a case number within 30 days and its been 64 days for me and they still have no clue where it is? And she said it depends on the petition? How can that be? Is mine just lost in a pile somewhere? She told me to wait 90 days and then call back.

Is anyone else in this situation?? I just want to cry. Please help

Good day. We sent forms 485, 131, 765 on April 1st from Chicago to the USCIS office in Chicago, still have not received the NOA. Please tell me where to call, where to write to find out if they received the documents and why the delay with the NOA?

I-130 For Daughter, Solutions for 1/2 Sister and Ex?

Hi,

So this might be a unique one, hopefully someone can offer some advice. I recently filed an I-130 for my daughter that was not born in the US. My daughter has a half sister 2 years younger than her (different fathers, same mother). My ex wife wants to enroll both girls in school here in the US for a year, as well as join them. She is not willing to let my daughter come to the US alone since she is a minor, and insists on accompanying both girls. I'm capable per the I-864 guidelines of sponsoring all 3. Per the I-130 and I-485 instructions, I don't see any field to fill out to file a petition for the other two since they are not direct relatives of mine. Ex wife would no longer count, correct? Assuming that my daughter's I-130 and later I-485 are approved, is there any way to get my daughter's half sister and my ex wife in the US so both girls can attend school here together?

I'll also note that my ex and I have been legally divorced since 2013, and that she never adjusted her status in the US after entering via marriage before she left. Everyone has entered the US several times on valid B2 tourist visas.

Name change

Hello! Could you help me with this question please? I plan to change my name through the court, since the new surname is not indicated in the marriage certificate (I wonder why?), In order to change the foreign passport and the civil passport of Russia (for example, only the SSN number with the new surname is not enough for them, they need a court decision ). Now I realized that in this case my patronymic (the part of the name used in Russia) will be lost in this case (the name format in the USA does not provide for the patronymic, only the middle name). I seem to have found a way out - if I enter my patronymic in the court decision as a middle name, Russia will recognize it as a patronymic . But I have already submitted forms 485, 131, 765 with only first and last (new) name, as well as a request for an SSN. It will turn out to be inconsistent in all documents. Is it possible to somehow notify USCIS about this and get a green card with a middle name (patronymic)? Thank you.
