Medical Exam Completed Before Interview Scheduled

Has anyone ever tried to complete the medical exam before their interview at the embassy was scheduled and, if so, did doing so result in any problems during the interview or during entry to the United States?

This question is in connection with a CR-1 application being processed via the Warsaw embassy. The medical exam was completed before the case even became documentarily qualified by the NVC and the interview has still not yet been scheduled to-date. That said, the interview should be scheduled during the six month window within which the medical exam is allegedly valid for entry to the United States. While the State Department website recommends scheduling the medical exam once the interview is scheduled, there does not seem to be anything strictly prohibiting one from doing so earlier; in any event, it would be helpful to know if anyone else has attempted this and whether doing so was successful or resulted in a problem.

As an aside, the embassy-approved doctor did not provide any sealed, hard-copy results; should they have or are the results somehow transmitted electronically between the doctor and the embassy?

Proof of "status" after filing I-485 (from a K-1)?

Hi,

We have run into a problem with our local state DMV/ID card Department. We are in Wyoming.

They gave my K-1 fiance an ID card after she entered the USA that expired coincident with her visa expiration (we expected that).

Now that we have married and filed for AoS/EAD/AP and her K-1 visa has expired and her ID card has expired, she needs a new ID card (fyi - she is not changing her name).

The state is requiring an official document/source/link that shows an expiration date (or "good until" date) in order to issue her a new ID card (so that they can make that ID card expire when her visa/status/etc expires).

Of course with AoS from a K-1, we have no such document...

Can anyone think of a link/document/solution that we could take the State office to show them that she is "legally" in the USA until her I-485 is adjudicated?

(I realize "legal" may not be the correct term, let's not get hung up on that...I'm looking for something to support her ability to be in the USA while awaiting review of her AoS, regardless of what it is technically called)

(our back-up plan would be to wait for the EAD - which should be here in December roughly - which I'm told has a one year date on it and then get her ID or Driver's license. But not having an ID card for several more months is concerning)

Thanks for any ideas/help/links you can think of.

Poland - K-1 Visa | Interview Stage Proof of Ongoing Relationship

Hi everyone,

We are applying for K-1 Visa, and my fianc e's interview in Warsaw, Poland is coming up in a few days. I have a question about "Proof of Ongoing Relationship" that is being requested.

Does it make sense to bring anything that was already in the original I-129F packet? Or should it just be evidence from AFTER the petition was submitted?

Don't want to cause unnecessary clutter during the interview, but at the same time the most recent pictures of us together are from the I-129F submission. I haven't been able to travel to her because of the pandemic.

Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated.

I am a big fan of 90 day fiance show on TLC. The lawyer on last night's episode was scaring Andei who is going through removal of conditions. I believe since he alredy got K1 and conditional green card it should be pretty straignt forward. I think lawyers just want to scare people to justify their existance and take their money. It may have been a bit more dramatic for the show. Thoughts?

Hello,

We're doing a K-1 Visa, and we're at the stage where we about to setup an Interview appointment at the US Embassy. Before we can view the calendar for available dates, the website asks us for our "Visa Priority", with the options being "Resident" and "Non-Resident."

Anyone know what the proper selection would be?

If it matters, this is for Poland and I'm a U.S. Citizen living and working in the US.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
