NVC documents rejection logic |

When NVC rejects the AOS package, e.g. because of not enough strongly proven domicile, is it based on the particular consulate guidelines? I know that Montreal is very strict about domicile, when some other consulate might be the opposite. Would the same set of documents be simultanously rejected and approved, based on the consulate it will be sent to? I'm trying to understand the logic behind RFEs I once heard that NVC shouldn't issue RFE based on the fact that in their eyes something like domicile or current income is not sufficiently documented and leave the final decision to the consular officer but I could be wrong.

Hi guys, Since I'm already at NVC stage of visa process, there are some questions that I have to ask. When answering them, please consider the scenario is that I just moved to the US when not living there for many years and having no ties to the country as for this moment. 1. Current income - I will probably find a job before moving back to the US and right after getting to the country and starting the job(let's say 1-2 weeks), I'd like to send all documents to NVC to review. Is it very probable that when making a lot above the income requirement with a fresh job that I will get RFE due to 'not stable' income since it will be pretty fresh? Should I write a cover letter that I will provide pay stubs and other possible evidences of stability of the employment for the interview? 2. Country of domicile - Since I'd already be in the US with foreseeable future there, could I already put the US as a country of domicile? It would be weird to write that Poland is my country of domicile if I would already cut all ties with this country(resigning from the job, ending apartment lease, etc.). If I could put the US as a country of domicile, then would I have to attach some particular evidences supporting that? Generally I thought that relocating alone is the best option before sending AOS since I would resolve the income and domicile issue but now I'm not so sure how it works.

Hello folks, I am applying on the 5 year basis. I was married but I got divorced. In terms of evidence, what did people submit besides the divorce decree? Do you need to submit any other evidence? Will it really delay your process if you don't? Thank you.

I have my NOA1 date of March 2, 2022. The current estimate date is April 22-27 of 2023. This seems about average, from what I'm hearing. My question is, is this the estimated day my fiance would get his K-1 approved? Or is it just the USCIS portion? I'm not making any plans yet, of course, but I'm fantasizing about a June wedding.
