Hello! Anyone has experience in filing taxes when starting up business or freelancing? My ROC is still pending and looking to start my online services. Just wondering how does it go when time to file for IRS. Will be applying for citizenship too soon. Thank you!

My wife is a permanent resident here in US. We have a son that was born here (US citizen) 4 months ago. She wants to travel in the next few weeks to Philippines with him. Does my wife and son both need a visa to enter Philippines? My wife has her Philippine passport which is good until October of 2021. Thanks for your help.

Hi, I'm a US citizen and I am trying to go see my fiance in the Philippines. What do I have to do to get an entry visa from the Philippine consulate or Philippine Embassy in Washington DC? The consulate says I'm not eligible to apply for a visa right now bcs I don't meet the eligibility requirements? Can someone please let me know what to do? It's been just over 8 months since I was last in the morning to visit her.

Hi, I'm curious to know what does initial review mean for my case status? I called USCIS and spoke to a tier 2 officer to find out why they transferred my k1 petition to the Vermont Service Center when originally the California Service Center was handling it. The officer said it was transferred for the efficiency of the case and due to high backlogs at other offices, but it doesn't make sense why they transferred it to an office that is 17.5 to 23 months average processing time and he said that doesn't matter because my case is already in initial review so he advised me to wait for a decision on my case within 90 days of the transfer date and if for any reason I don't hear from them within 90 days that is the time to call them to file an inquiry. Is the information that the officer gave me true and correct? I don't trust USCIS because they have given me so much misinformation in the past 2 years with my previous petition for my ex fiance when they transferred my last petition to Vermont as well. I submitted all the required documents and then some so I think I will be ok. I'm just praying that it doesn't take them 90 days to make a decision and that the information given was true and correct. Also, can anyone tell me if you have a past criminal record, but no convictions, do they always transfer it to Vermont service center, because the officer told me that isn't why it was transferred, rather it's to speed up the process due to high workload issues at some offices, and that the transfer will not delay my case in any way. I'm not confident in USCIS bcs of all the misinformation I've been given.
